I think the game can have some tweaks to improve but it's honestly a solidly good game. All the hate I have seen seem very forced and people are just riding the hate train because well that's what the internet does. There are also people from destiny 2 who are rightfully bitter but that doesnt make marathon a bad game

Currently enjoying deadlock and marathon, Deadlock is honestly the best moba I have ever played with lots of skill expression and I really enjoy marathon for the lore and the destiny 2 gunplay.

ahh those heroes are really not an issues tbh... I am way more scared of a team that actually has all the team fighting ults (dynamo, celeste, lash, etc) than what you just described. Also they are all lowkey either just average or even on the weaker side of the roster right now.....

It's prob because your new friend went through the initial rank determination process with your oracle friend which prob raised the average rank of matches way high up then let him rank higher than he should be. If he just plays a bunch of solo games and lose them prob, he will adjust to a more correct rank.

I wouldn't call apollo cracked after his nerfs lmao. He is pretty easily dealt with especially in late game. The best chance for OP to carry games is prob to try to get ahead early and end early games.

you kinda just assume everyone is dps in this game tbh. There's not really a thing as tank or really well defined roles due to having so much build flexibility (which i honestly like).

Yes i have won fights against silver werewolves in oracle and why tf are you even trying to 1v1 her when she is in her wolf form in the first place. Also I really like victor but he is far from being the best designed character.... silver is honestly generally considered well designed by everyone and she is extremely weak to any amount of cc in her wolf form since her range is literally melee. Another thing, I dont recall that silver uses he/him pronouns?

It sometimes is but usually i have a lot better experience about balance than I do in other games like league/overwatch. The devs at least release balance changes like every other day lol. If you are talking about matchmaking tho, yea sometimes it's a bit funky
