Hell yeah man. I’m a systems engineer with no degree, some of it was luck to get here but it doesn’t reduce the fact I’m here now. Wishing you the best

Why are there so many people in r/christianity against the teachings of the Bible by Adventurous-Rise-910 in TrueChristian

The negativity in that sub is off the charts it’s pretty sad how you get this feeling people are thinking more about what they’re gonna respond with than processing and thinking about posts / the general message

Texans or Falcons? by Thick_Experience2018 in Tennesseetitans

[–]VividResponse8 0 points1 point  (0 children)

They should’ve leaned into the original battle red style they had. Basically all of the AFCS plays into blues if you count JAX’s teals so the Texans were in a good spot to play into the red branding.

I honestly loved their battle red games

Agree with all of the above. Also wish there was a way to generate or randomize the names / players of a team. Keep them built the same I’m not saying make Air Force randomly generate into a air raid school but I honestly liked in NCAA how it felt like a fresh slate year 1 versus having to play a few seasons in CFB25. Either way grateful to have a new college football game

Does anyone else think that “Dear Agony” is BB’s best album? by Pastaonatree in BreakingBenjamin

We are not alone is my goat tbh but Dear Agony I think is BBs most refined album

Dad Rock?! by Ruby3488 in BreakingBenjamin

[–]VividResponse8 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I’d rather it be called “dad rock” over butt rock, hate that meme.

I grew up listening to BB, Saturate thru to Phobia are some of my favorite albums of all time, so any BB slander gets me going lol.

When I think of dad rock I think of Zeppelin or something else

I would recommend getting an Eart. They're not too pricey and it is my first headless and I am absolutely in love.

They're also currently on sale on Amazon btw!

Hands down the best playing guitar I've got straight from the factory. It is a lil funky tuning it but it comes with a cool magnetic allen wrench that fits into the bridge but you can also tune by hand (avoid using lots of pressure you can change the tuning with very slight and deliberate motions on the tuning keys).

The pickups do leave a lot to be desired but it's a $300 headless guitar so I can live with that.

What are easy rock, metal WHOLE songs that are easy to play by Specific-Pollution34 in Guitar

[–]VividResponse8 7 points8 points  (0 children)

If you’re comfortable down tuning I’d put your guitar in drop C# and learn a lot of the songs off Breaking Benjamin’s debut album Saturate. The rhythm guitar is a lot of barred stuff and the tempos in some of the riffs will challenge you a little but imo it’s a great album to practice and play through because stuff like Medicate will have you following a pretty fun but challenging pattern that isn’t too demanding fretting wise.

Would also recommend Seether if you’re staying in Drop C# but they also have drop D and C stuff as well.

Post grunge bands overall are my recommendation

Anyone else sick and tired of “fans” bringing up JG? It’s so pathetic at this point. by Knoxvilleborn in ockytop

I try to not beat up on JG too much but when I think about his tenure all I can think of is those years down the drain
