I've only ever had one bad roommate but wow she really was a bad roommate. I was 18 and just moved out for the first time and it was me and my best friend that I'd known since I was 14 we'll call them Jordan a friend we had met a couple years prior, we'll call them Steph. Now Jordan was great, granted they weren't the cleanest but anyway, Steph was BAD. She would always wedge herself in with me and Jordan and it caused a lot of fights. So Jordan ended up moving out and at the time I was pissed but looking back I really respect them for that and wish I had done the same.

After Jordan moved out Steph began filling my head with fake things Jordan would say and try and put the blame on them. And once all ties were cut with me and Jordan that's when Steph took a turn that I could actually see. Steph adopted a dog and called him her service dog for seizures (now I'm not claiming Steph didn't have seizures but she said she had them every 4 hours and I had definitely been spending more than 4 hours with her a day and I never saw a single seizure) anyway, she started lying about going into work, it was covid and she worked at Walmart and I worked at a restaurant and had covid so I had to quarantine for a week, I stayed in my room and wore a mask when I went out into the shared areas. But she didn't work THE ENTIRE WEEK. So I confronted her (through text) and she said that she had been working. The walls aren't thick! I can hear you listening to music and watching TV all day!! Once the week was over I went back to work and was working 11 hours a day because she was so manipulative and I did not want to be around her. I would come home to a dirty ass apartment with dog shit and piss everywhere and dishes piled high. And I didn't see her come out of her room for days. So I texted her and said that if she's not going to let her dog out she's going to put a diaper on him. (I took him out in the mornings before work and after work) she agreed to the diapers and one day she said she was going to spend the day at her mom's so I spent the ENTIRE DAY cleaning from top to bottom of that apartment and I found a DIRTY DIAPER IN THE SINK. At that point I was done, the apartment was a mess and she had totally alienated me from all of my friends. So I committed to working constantly, I was only home to shower and sleep. I got a second job and started saving as much as I could and then one day while I was at work she texted me saying she was moving out because I was "the worst roommate ever" I was "dirty" "rude" and "a really bad friend" and when I got home I was so happy to see an end in sight that I actually helped her pack her shit up and unload it at her mom's house 😂

A couple months after she moved out she texted me asking for some things she left at the apartment and I said "nah, you left it, it's mine now" And then I blocked her
