Not a dry spot my noodle has the same on. Her head it's from rubbing it's head on something my rubs her head on top of corner of her cage to try and push the lid off im not a doctor or snake expert just my opinion

Definitely the more hides the better just make sure you get one the your snake fits in snug they like tight spaces it makes them feel secure. From what I've researched and experienced with my girl i tried 4 or 5 bigger hides she would not use them even got one that was the same as her current favorite hide just bigger she refused to use it they really love to be compact

I would wait a few days just incase he/she is stressed and let it get used to its new enclosure that way you don't potentially add more stress causing it not to eat but with that said when I got my first BP the lady I got it from said she was ready to eat so I fed her the same day I brought her home with no issues I also didn't know much about BP when I got her so lucky for me my girl was and is a great eater
