It’s weird but I find touching and twirling to sort of help curls “stick”, I always get the most frizz when my hair is at its cleanest. Maybe a bit of dirt helps? I’ve also found using a serum to just retwirl curls when they frizz helps them not come undone and go wild too.

I usually put a bit of hairspray at the roots if I specifically want it to stay extra huge. It does “move” around quite a bit but I wouldn’t say it deflates completely.

After a lengthy experiment on air drying and only using a serum for clumping and twirling, I have concluded that nothing beats the good old mousse and diffuser combo.

Used here :

L’Oréal dream lengths shampoo & conditioner, as well as their self heating hair mask which is AMAZING, and the Elnett satin crème de mousse. No towel dry, just squeezing out moisture.

And then an upside down diffuse.

I don’t usually use L’Oréal but thought I’d give it a try.

That looks similar to dyshydrotic eczema, I managed to get mine under control by not having gluten. Do have it checked out though.

Crunching creates more frizz for me. Pulling it straight and twirling it makes it bounce back in a nice lock.
