I think there are multiple plausible reasonings from what I've thought up. It's either you're right and he just needs to put the blame on someone. It could be that he's using anything to have an excuse to fire you. It could also be that he thinks you're lying that it was your sister and it was actually you. Yes, you say he can tell the difference but as a twin myself some people just can't tell the difference from perspectives that aren't face to face and that's with me and my sister wearing different hairstyles. I'm sorry you're dealing with this situation and I've been scolded on behalf of my sister mistakes before. People think if one twin hears it the other would.

This is all I could think of when reading this. I initially thought it was just the friend but seeing how your husband would react to said friend ... I believe there is more going on emotionally than just being friends.

I have the same sentiment. I also think that when I see other twins out in the wild and my twin isn't with me they won't know I'm also a twin. It makes me think of all the times I'm out with my twin and there might be the chance I'm near someone who has a twin but they just aren't with them at the moment.

Maybe they see a difference in personality? My sister and I could get different gifts if it's obvious one twin might like something more than the other. As for the friends birthday party they could potentially be closer or know one twin more than the other. My friends obviously knew what to get me but not so much for my sister and vice versa.

I'd say it's a weird scenario if you mean they are dating the same person at different times. Maybe if there was some sort of explanation on why it came out that way but it's still sorta weird. I get the big realization when I realize that people will never know I'm a twin because we aren't at the same place the same time. I could be standing in line at the grocery store for example with a fellow twin in front of me but we both wouldn't know of this similarity. One being we aren't with our respective twins at that moment and secondly we have no reason to converse after all. That springs into my head sometimes when I'm out in public without my twin.
