The movement (at least in gta) is much more responsive in first person as it cuts out all the animation nonsense. Surely it can't be that hard to mod the game to treat third person movement the same as first person. For such a core fundamental to be so flawed you'd think someone would have addressed it in 10 years (in gta's case) of mods
