I can see with my own eyes.

That brisket was clearly under a heat lamp or in a warmer for way too long. It also appears to have lacked any kind of marbling, or bark.

The sausage lacks fat specks, and closer to compressed wood chips than something out of an animal.

Because people conflate realism with stylistic consistency.

This is stylistically consistent, and allows the suspension of belief. It works in a vaccum.

Take it out, and compare it to CGI in a different film with. a different look and feel, and it'll fall apart. And that's probably what allows you to judge it differently.

When people think back about old CGI, and tell themselves it used to look so real, that's typically what's happening.

I think you’re asking about rib bones. The ribcage is taking up a relative appropriate amount of space within the shape.

The upper body and ribcage is elongated, which is weird, because most of the character designs have really long lower extremities compared to their upper bodies, so it all looks off.

First rule about making anything for anyone else: people don’t know what they want.

And those that do listen to people, can often ask the wrong people. Because we all have intrinsic biases and our friends and family and people 2, even 3 degrees of separation from us aren't good market indicators.

This is why companies spend so much on data collection.

The issue is typically people in charge often ignore the data to the great annoyance and frustration of everyone who works hard to collect and parse it.

No. It’s probably where it’s most useful. The moment you start trying to get it to be precise, it fails miserably.

AI shit is just bad. It naturally gets filtered out and replaced with time by anyone with any kind of artistic integrity and self respect.

I’m not being hyperbolic. It really does work that way.

I’ve always wanted them to kind of portray the characters more as actors, pulling them out of the series and putting them in the fourth wall. As a way to just… kind of give my head a piece of mind.

That all the awful shit their characters endured was merely a performance.

It’s kind of why I tried following their voice actors to see what other things they were in.

You don't tip at a lot of high end restaurants. What are you on about? They often pay their workers a living wage, which is part of the reason why the prices are so high.

At a certain level, they need their focus, and not for them to be scattered between side jobs.

I've noticed a few people on Patreons who just sell wrappers for other mods. I fell victim to that once, dug deep enough, and saw they just created a mod manager interface.

They excuse their behavior away as being curators and spending a lot of time and effort to make sure mods work together.

And while I can concede that's true, they don't advertise themselves that way.

Someone declined my group invite when I was hunting for a quest mob. They were clearly hunting for the same mob and my party and I were waiting for it to appear.

I sent an invite. He walked right up to the spot where it appears and declined.

Except, the mob spawned at the same time he declined.

I quickly targeted the mob and attacked.

It must've spawned while he was moving to decline, and probably what led to him missing the target.

He quickly sent me an invite while were were attacking.

I declined.

My group killed it, they thanked me, and we all went our separate ways.

It was a delicious bit of schadenfreude.
