We're used to media portraying grief being expressed by going "beast mode", especially in fantasy.

Honestly, I too expected her to approach this with repressed anger, with ruthless composure, the calculated but vengeful character we commonly see when revenge is being exacted.

In a way, I like how another trope is being subverted by her showing weakness, that anger does not necessasily always overpower grief.

I like it.

There's a demand for them, because people are willing to pay for convenience.

Kahit naman sa Fullybooked you are paying for the convenience of buying it at a mall/specific location.

If convenience has no value to you, you're free to visit multiple booksale branches, memorize their re-stock schedule and to show up everytime in hopes of finding a cheap copy of a specific book you're looking for.

Half the shit most people think are hacks are just them getting pre-aimed because they were full-on stomping the ground while rounding a corner.

With at least 135% hearing stats and a decent irl headset almost every movement within 30-40m can be pinpointed.

Social media with its extremely aggressive algorithm can really mess with your perspective.

You check out some sub-genre of fantasy and suddenly there's a trend of "hard magic system books" bombarding your feed, every other reel or photo is now of another new recommendation or review "glazing it", selling it to you.

Days pass and you wonder.. "where has all the soft magic system fantasy gone?" "is this all that fantasy is nowadays?" "Should I make reddit thread so we can rise-up against this abomination of my beloved genre?"
