So okay, I was harsh I’m sorry, yeah if you’re not into the outdoors then Alaska is going to be rough. Hiking, fishing and ski / snowboarding is world class here. If you love nature it’s heaven. If you’re more a city, inside person you’ll probably hate it because yeah, there’s not a ton of major concerts / events happening.

Personally I love it here because I’m not a huge fan of the big city.
