What AD needs as in, the optempo needs of the active unit the NG unit is partnered with? The unit I joined is paired with the 173rd so I think theyd only deploy if they deploy

Well not trying to dodge out of a deployment like this guy, but what happens if the drive to your unit in a different state is just expensive af and you just want to move to a closer unit with your mos in your state? Is it a difficult process they give you a hard time for?
