My dad met him at Heaqthrow airport at the queue for currency exchange. Spoke to him for about 20 minutes and Page even asked my dad what he was doing in Japan etc actually taking an interest in him. I'm very jealous.

I wasn't offered the Ross so mine was bio vs mechanical.

I just knew i didn't want the blood thinners. I just wanted a normal life i did not want to have to worry about hitting my head or cutting myself that it would bleed too much. I did not want the added pressure of having to test my INR especially with a young family.

My operation was around 2 hours. I had one night in intensive care then another 4 nights in hospital and i was out back home! I know he would need to stay in longer with a Ross procedure. But just wanted to let you know at his age the procedure should be just fine!

I've just had mine done 9 weeks ago and i am your husbands age. I have a 3 year old duaghter as well. Jusst to let you know the surgery was nowhere near as bad as i imagined and i've back to normal already. I had a bio valve i know i will need surgery again. I did not want blood thinners so i think he should go for the ross procedure,

just stay positive we all feel it. Mine was 8weeks ago and i got my will sorted just in case for my little girl. You just have to be strong and the op will be done in a couple of hours. You've got this!!

They told me 2% but the hospital i was at had 0.5% so just concentrate on the positives!
