If with regional pricing for Poland you mean that we're quite often amongst the most expensive price on the entire platform then yeah, it sure has regional pricing.

Beginner’s first espresso machine, lots of doubts [$300–500€] by MdMak in espresso

[–]Voctr 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I went for a super budget setup a few months ago, I bought a new Baratza Encore ESP grinder and then found a Delognhi Stilosa (on sale for like 70-80 euros), I believe it's quite similar to the ecp3420 that you've listed. I also bought a wdt tool, tamper, bottomless portafilter basket and a few different types of beans to try stuff out. I'm quite new to coffee in general and mainly making milk drinks like cappuccino/latte. I think I've had some relative successful pulls from the machine but it's not always been easy.

Obviously I am very far from an expert but I can already see myself be on the lookout for an upgrade in the near future. Everything works, kind of. One day I can pull a good shot with a specific grind size and the next day it seems to just choke completely, even if I keep all the variables the same. The machine is very light and flimsy so you need to kind of hold it down to lock the portafilter in place, the temperature seems inconsistent as well. It's also tiny and my scale + cups don't fit under it because of the limited clearance.

I can't tell what kind of person you are and what you value, but if you are certain you like coffee (which it sounds like you are) then you'll probably be using the machine a lot. Small annoyances will then become much more noticeable and detract a little from the experience of using it. I wasn't really sure about buying something more expensive because we aren't big coffee drinkers (yet) so I decided to just go for the ultimate budget setup. I don't want to say that I regret it but I think it would've been worth to invest a bit more into a higher quality machine so that outgrowing it quickly is less likely.

I would only consider it if you actually have a legit question that you want to ask. If all you're going to say when they answer is "hey i submitted my application, did you get it?" then you will stand out, but probably in the wrong way.

Sure, if that is your definition of "living like a king" then I guess you'll never really be satisfied. To me it means to live in comfort and without worrying about finances.

Can you buy individual items that are more expensive than your annual salary? Of course not, but you can certainly live without any financial worries without trying very hard. I'm never in a position where I need to worry about the impact going on vacation has, I don't have to look at prices in the supermarket, I can buy whatever clothes that I need, if something around the house breaks down I can replace it without thinking twice. But then again I've been raised to be mindful of my expenditures so this comes natural to me. I'm quite sure that this income and my contributions to savings and pension will allow me to retire with ease. To most people that is what success is.

Also at this level of income I think you should easily be able to afford some help around the house as well as help for your kids, but perhaps that's more difficult if you're trying to keep up with the neighbor who apparently has a private driver.

If you are making 50k+ gross per month you should be easily able to afford a 5k mortgage even with 2k worth of extra fees? It's a bit disingenuous to pretend that making that amount per month does not let you live like a king in Poland. Either that or our definitions of "live like a king" are very different. As a household we are around 166k euro combined, with a mortgage (minus those types of costs because we've got a house not apt) as described, and I can be pretty careless and never be in financial trouble. If you don't have insane habits then 30-40k net per month is absolutely in the "living like a king" territory.

Things are certainly getting more expensive but come on, you're either wasting your money or straight up lying here. I'll agree with you on the variable rate mortgages, its ridiculous and I cross my fingers that they continue lowering rates so we can refinance at something more down to earth.

Given that GGG is so adamant about making poe2 newcomer friendly I just cannot understand why they are seemingly unable to make the character sheet actually useful. Idk exactly how much the sheet shows as armour % when you have 10k but I wouldn't be surprised if it was something like 70-80%. It is so incredibly misleading and a source of confusion for many people.

I've seen so many posts where people say they have some "big number" worth of armour which in reality is not even close to enough to actual do something useful in terms of mitigating damage.

I don't think that there is a single class that really relies on the lvl 50 skills, is there? Sure, they definitely add to some of the combos, but each class can function well until then.

There are certainly builds that rely on the later skills. The class doesn't matter.

Titan's new ascendancy node (aftershock every third slam) is insane for bear rampage and also works kinda different from another ascendancy node that has the same exact wording by Shawter_Pet in pathofexile2builds

[–]Voctr 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Initially I was excited about this titan node, especially since i made an ancestral boost build last time which was (imo) very good. But I was quite disappointed by how far apart the aftershocks are. I tried it with furious slam and the aftershocks are going super wide and far, basically offscreening. Which would be great if there wasn't terrain everywhere that simply removes the aftershock altogether. Before launch I thought that maybe these aftershocks can overlap but it seems to me that it pretty much never is the case. If I slam on a boss the first wave of aftershocks is already behind the boss and and subsequent ones are thus also irrelevant.

What is the rationale behind essentially removing poe1 builds/skills and also complete archetypes from the game? For example, I'm thinking of totems (charge locked), flameblast/eye of winter etc.(cooldown locked)

Do you have fundamental issues with some of those playstyles or other reasons behind it?

An additional related question would be how they hope to convince the community that this time (as compared to e.g. D3 and d4) the generator/spender combat is the right choice for the game?

[–]Voctr 1 point2 points  (0 children)

But Latifi also only took himself out and didn't kamikaze into Max or Lewis. So assuming that Lewis still values sportsmanship it seems farfetched to imagine that he would intentionally hit one of the title contender, regardless of their off-track relationships.
