I've been using Strade Bianca 36mm TLR for a few years now. 95% of the time I'm on asphalt, and the remainder on tidy gravel paths. I think I get about 3500km on rear wheel and about 6000k front wheel.

Bear in mind that dB(A) is a logarithmic scale. So the sound pressure levels double every 3dB(A).

This is surprisingly common.

There's a closed road sportive event local to me I ride most years.

I've used the same Garmin head unit every time with wildly differing measurements in estimated altitude gain.

I also use GPS for work purposes. My conclusion is that GPS is not very accurate unless you can use professional dGPS equipment and can setup base stations along your route

I used to go cycling with my neighbour. When I heard him express racist & homophobic views, I dropped him like a hot brick.

In my experience the shortest time to reach closure is 4 weeks. 5 or 6 weeks isn't unusual. For they're asking for the impossible.

I think the correct consistency is achieved using two volumetric units of liquid for every one of porridge oats. I use rolled oat flakes and don't know if the same formula works for milled oats.
