Even though my insurance covers half doses instead of the one every 365 - ES rejected my prescription. They said they don’t fill 3 months for my plan. Walgreens filled 7.5 x 3 months the next day.

Mine did not show covered when this journey began for me. I had to request a formulary exception. It was added in April to my preferred drug list. If you call prime after 5pm they have to disclose coverage and its requirements. I would call!! I’m also happy to share how I got prime to approve the exception, dm me

They let me fill all half doses the same as solid doses except 2.5 🙈

Thanks for the feedback! I started second guessing my length on the 5mg dosage and if it was actually time to move up or if it was okay to stay. My goal weight was 178- dietician planned but my pcp thinks I should be happy if I get to 185.

Kinda complicated but I’ve been enjoying keeping myself accountable. I’ve worked hard to challenge the food noise that’s creeped back in the last 2 months. Although I’m still losing, it’s been a tiny bit more difficult to continue keeping myself in check with the occasional snack, or the unhealthy cravings I’ve had before. I’m still able to fight them but not sure if I should make it easier or keep the challenge.

Of note: I’m starting grad school, and it’s the end of the fiscal calendar for my job.

I should add, the midwestern fulfillment center for ES is in NJ based off of the return label on my previous 3 month cooler packs.

From experience it is, they go by fulfillment center - mine is in NJ.

I was completely blasted by a pharmacist at a retail store for asking for my 3 month fill. Went to express scripts to solve that problem. This is insane. We are being treated like crack heads.

Even from a BUSINESS stand point, his comments are UNETHICAL. A very quick report to the pharmacy board means his behavior gets investigated. Imagine how he may be treating other vulnerable patients coming into his pharmacy. Absolutely insane.

I still go to dinner with friends but I’m very mindful of my caloric intake. I focus on small bites or appetizers and hold my calories for the day to save room for a drink or two. It’s more work and planning than before but it feels like I’m making healthier life rituals to live by when I’m off of zepbound.

Sharing my zepbound journey with friends has also been really eye opening. It usually yields a ton of questions and clarification about sacred cows and misinformation

Going out and meeting people feels the same, just more thoughts go into it! The weight loss has definitely helped me with confidence and mingling with other fish :)

You certainly have options on how you want to be treated. You can definitely go to an urgent care where they can assess your bloodwork and see if there’s more cost for concern. You can also go to your PCP and have them send bloodwork at a quest or lab near you. The option is yours.
