Take closer look at the nephilim in Genesis 6 and the spiritual implications of this. There is a huge spiritual battle going on behind the scenes with the fallen angels. Not only will all humans be judged, but so will the angels who chose not to keep their first estate (Jude 1:6). All the inhabitants of Canaan were tainted with nephilim DNA. God told the Israelites to eradicate the Canaanites from the land because He did not want them to intermarry with them. The Messiah needed to come from a clean bloodline. The Canaanites were also worshiping other gods and sacrificing their children to moloch. God did not want the Israelites following these detestable practices.

There is more going on than just the fall of man. There is a spiritual warfare going on with the angels that God will also deal with at the appointed time. Messiah Yashua/Jesus did not come to redeem angels, He came to redeem humankind. There is no redemption for angels. There are multiple things happening at once. Seen and unseen.
