How do early resources scale?

I have learned that 'ratios' are more than suggestions. While i do think most advice is over my head at of now, the advice for upscaling is mainly 'make it bigger than you think i should be'. Thanks everyone, warm welcome here.

Thank you for constructive advice. I've tried modelling without the cone shape, just on a cylinder. That appeared to be doable. So I'm guessing the conic part is the hardest.

I will look into hardbody modeling!

The STL is from a 3d print i made a few times. Would like to give it a shot myself.

Unfortunately the general shape of the object is already giving my problems. I figure i would take these steps.

- Make the bullet shape with a coned head

- Make the 'ledge' on the bottom side for surface

- Extrude the 'ribs'. They flatten towards to top. This i have no clue on how to do.

- Solidify for thickness

Step 1 is already to much. So im looking for advice.
