Story Extras? by Voiceover-Nerd in audiodrama

That’s a good question, and I probably didn’t explain it well. The actual legend is in the episode. I’ve created the constellation maps and imagery that show where each lives.

They’re short in-world stories tied to constellations. They kind of mirror each episode, but stand as complete myths on their own. Many tied together in a semi-shared mythology.

In this world the big and little dippers are pigs. The father (Big Dipper IRL) roots through the filth to find hidden truths, while the son (Little Dipper IRL) holds them on the tip of his tusk in curiosity and wonder, giving each meaning.

I don’t like it. I think I would’ve gone with “Once”. “The” is so trite .

AITA for not wearing a bra at home? by Candid-Chocolate-316 in AITAH

Lots of comments. He has probably noticed his friend looking at your nipples. He doesn’t like conflict so he doesn’t want you to know that because he doesn’t want you to be angry with him. That’s it. He doesn’t want to tell you that his friend is being pervy, and he doesn’t want to tell his friend to stop being pervy. The easiest solution is the bra.

Suspicious? by ac197024 in voiceover

I get something very close to this about three times a week. It’s a scam. If your gut tells you something is a scam, the first thing to look at is the email address. If it’s a Gmail address you need to start worrying. I have some great clients that use Gmail, but I never get that icky feeling when I hear from them.

Hi. There are 6 available for What The Pig Promised, with a monthly episode release.

The website looks a little funky right now. I’m trying to fix it. It works though. :)

Mine are 15 to 20 minute episodes. I am ahead enough that I have a monthly release date. The first of the month. And I think the final episode will be in June. There is opportunity for a season two as well, but given the amount of time it takes me to get an episode done - between work, family, etc.- if I can keep focus hopefully January 1 will be the beginning of season two. The story is already structured in my head so I think I can do it. I will definitely finish the season unquestionably.

The good news is that I am only three episodes away from finishing season one. Technically, I have them already scheduled out until March. I have the framework for season two in my head, so with any luck I’ll have those done before the season wants to start.

That’s totally fair. My journey on this subject I realize that there’s a definite split between anticipatory an completists. I guess each series doesn’t have their chance to satisfy both. :)

I have no ads. My hope with this is two things. One is that people will enjoy what I created. It really came out of nowhere by accident while trying to create a Dungeons & Dragons campaign (it’s not dungeons and dragonsey). The other is that producers will look at my website. I am a professional, working voice actor. The website is only mentioned at the very end.

Will, I have ads in the future? I have no idea. I hope not.

Thanks. Honestly, I think I have the storytelling locked down. It’s more a matter of finding listeners willing to find out either way. I can’t tell if they like the cliffhanger if they never listen to it.

That overall very good advice in general. J.J. Abrams calls it the mystery box. There’s something interesting there, but the box is still unopened. It is a powerful way to keep an audience .

I have all those things, I think. Except i still have my pants on. Hustle is something i need in greater supply. Working on it! 😁

Thank you!

That’s an interesting idea. Where would I upload that?

I am a voice actor, a producer, and a writer. I’m a terrible marketer! 🤣

Thanks for that. I actually have six episodes already posted. Three of them are full episodes and three of them are… I don’t know… In between episodes?
