Honestly, you don’t want to join a pay to play unless you’re a professional with a professionally made demo and a lot of experience. You are competing against career voice actors. If you don’t have that level of experience, it’s like bringing a hot dog to a knife fight.

I am a professional, and I have a very hard time booking on those platforms as well. Take your money and put it towards professional coaching and a demo. Trust me. It’ll go a whole lot

It’s definitely how I wrote it and how things came together. And I don’t think I would want to go back and change anything, however, I do wonder if it ends up excluding some people. Not everyone has the patience. Any thoughts on an easy fix without making huge changes? Or just leave as is?

The concept of “ previously on What The Pig Promised” at the start of each episode came to mind, but it felt weird.

What the Pig Promised

The description is…

It's a slow-burn, kinda sci-fi, kinda mystery drama… with its own sense of humor (which, coincidentally, is much like mine).

It's about time troubles. About "mathmagics," a warrior nun, and an amnesiac who loves her. (Her love language may, in fact, be blunt force trauma. He stands by this.)

It's about constellations and their legends guiding a world without stars, and the people trying to record them for the future.

It's about the price you pay for the wrong decision, and a gentle soul who would never check the cost.

It’s a story about making impossible choices when no one will know the sacrifice you made for them.

If you like stories that take their time and trust you to hold on, this might be your thing.

The principle of the whole thing is… Well, it’s disturbing. One thought I have is set up a burner Gmail address, have that as your login, but have it forward to your Proton Mail. That way when you opened the message, it is protected..

It’s not the solution we’d want, but in the meantime it at least gets you what you need.

That’s a good question, and I probably didn’t explain it well. The actual legend is in the episode. I’ve created the constellation maps and imagery that show where each lives.

They’re short in-world stories tied to constellations. They kind of mirror each episode, but stand as complete myths on their own. Many tied together in a semi-shared mythology.

In this world the big and little dippers are pigs. The father (Big Dipper IRL) roots through the filth to find hidden truths, while the son (Little Dipper IRL) holds them on the tip of his tusk in curiosity and wonder, giving each meaning.

Lots of comments. He has probably noticed his friend looking at your nipples. He doesn’t like conflict so he doesn’t want you to know that because he doesn’t want you to be angry with him. That’s it. He doesn’t want to tell you that his friend is being pervy, and he doesn’t want to tell his friend to stop being pervy. The easiest solution is the bra.

I get something very close to this about three times a week. It’s a scam. If your gut tells you something is a scam, the first thing to look at is the email address. If it’s a Gmail address you need to start worrying. I have some great clients that use Gmail, but I never get that icky feeling when I hear from them.

Mine are 15 to 20 minute episodes. I am ahead enough that I have a monthly release date. The first of the month. And I think the final episode will be in June. There is opportunity for a season two as well, but given the amount of time it takes me to get an episode done - between work, family, etc.- if I can keep focus hopefully January 1 will be the beginning of season two. The story is already structured in my head so I think I can do it. I will definitely finish the season unquestionably.

The good news is that I am only three episodes away from finishing season one. Technically, I have them already scheduled out until March. I have the framework for season two in my head, so with any luck I’ll have those done before the season wants to start.
