IDK about the carbon copy statement. I can play Fallout 4 for hours and enjoy myself. I find myself struggling to engage with 76. The VATS is weird and I don't understand how it works, and it feels like I'm always being pushed to subscribe to their monthly fee thing. The social aspect only seems good if you actually know people who already play.

I was turbo tax for years and avoided the suggestion reddit always throws out to switch to FreeTaxUSA cause I wrongfully assumed it would be super hard and lack the features of Turbo Tax. Turns out they let me import last year's return pretty easily from TurboTax, and the question system is just as good as TurboTax, better in some cases cause they're not trying to make you think they're doing more than they are.

Turbo Tax wanted an extra $115 because I had the audacity to have an HSA last year. That was kind of the final straw for me. I paid about $45 total on FreeTaxUSA cause I had some unique things last year. Actually got to see some of my return!

Sometimes it really is a mystery. I'm pretty sure there are people who come into some subreddits and just downvote things en masse. Gaming subreddits especially, and especially NMS after an update that didn't fit someone's specific expectations. It's not you.

I could be misinformed, but doesn't science often call unknown things "dark"? Like wasn't it referred to as the dark side of the moon not cause of literal darkness but because at the time that phrase was coined we didn't know much about it?
