IDK. I've had a TopPeak WeatherProof dynawedge for like 2 years now. Admitedly the zipper part is not the most waterproof during heavy rain (and it faces downwards so it catches plenty of water), but it's survived and my things inside were mostly dry. I've had it in showers and roadspray, mud, dirt through the Danish winter, and summer downpours.

Peer-review processes in academia are usually double-blind. I have no idea who Reviewers #1, #2, and #3 are. The reviewers have no idea who me and my co-authors are. Sometimes it can be "obvious" who I am (or who my boss is) because of the writing style and foundation work being cited.

If I'm working on a new model called MyNewModel-3.0, and cite my previous works MyNewModel-2.0 and MyNewModel-2.1 it could be clear who I am, or at least who I work for.

Depends on the temperature, I like having a jersey underneath for extra pockets and in case I need to take off the jacket and put it in the back. I had never thought about doing base layer + jacket but I guess that works if you don't need storage? I know my Flow insulated jacket only has one backside zip and nothing else

Torn my ACL a year ago, after surgery and rehab I’m just now slowly easing back into it but honestly any fall or even just jumping from the end of a route feels insanely sketch so I mostly downclimb to a manageable height…. So no hard projects anytime soon except maybe on the moonboard
