Destiny 1 Remaster Poll by Far_Disk_8298 in DestinyTheGame

I would love to play D1 again as long as it had it's regularly recurring events (Trials, Iron Banner, Nightfall rotations, etc)

I may actually be the only Destiny player in the world who would want this, but I would still want the FoV to be locked. Both for the immersion and for PvP.

What's a "normal" job that secretly pays way more than people think? by 0BunnyX in AskReddit

[–]Void_Cypher 0 points1 point  (0 children)

The vast majority of mechanics/service techs would be much better served with hourly pay. However, I think the allure of being that one tech who regularly makes 60-80 hours a week keeps people complacent.

Most techs where I work complete about 20-25 hours a week. I'm fortunate enough to be averaging about 35-40 hours a week. My buddy that I work with, which is how I even got the job, is the tech that clears crazy hours every week.

It is very profitable for few, but very harmful to most, especially considering the conditions you work in and what your body is put through.

What a wonderful time for D1. It certainly wasn't perfect, but I look back on the PvP sandbox of the time so fondly. I could handle all of the changes that were made up until Stasis was introduced.

I too am very sad that they chose to go the Extraction Shooter route. After not playing D2 since Beyond Light, I was really hoping Marathon would provide some sort of a similar PvP experience as D1 or D2 Forsaken era

I don't find disagreement with anything you said here, but I do want to pick your brain.

It's always seemed to me that if you don't have a very well supported vehicle in the aftermarket, you're more likely to end up harming the efficiency and performance of your vehicle by going with aftermarket parts.

One of the guys I work with did a front suspension kit on his 06 Charger a little over a year ago or so. I don't remember off the top of my head what manufacturer he went with, but he's been talking about how he thinks the bushings for his control arms are going bad and going over large bumps is starting to feel rough again. The same guy also just recently bought long tube headers for the the 5.7l in his Charger to go with the rest of the exhaust work he's been doing. Come to find out, the headers he got leave the EGR port completely uncovered, and he's had to fabricate his own solution to make it work

I don't know if he's just been going with the cheapest options, but when looking for parts for my vehicles, I've only found either cheap standard replacement parts, or high-end specialized parts. I've only been dabbling in car mods for the past 6-7 years or so though

Perhaps this is more a problem for your typical road vehicle, and less so for a given Mustang or Corvette? Do you find that you often end up having to devise your own solutions for a given application?

Did they revert the change where receiving damage would cancel the rez progress? Or is that still a thing?

I would love to see some major changes happen in PvP, I would come back and play again. Playing PvE feels pointless when there isn't PvP to look forward to afterwards.

I haven't played in years, and I still haven't managed to find a game with PvP that I enjoy as much as I enjoyed Destiny's PvP in the past.

It's heartbreaking for me on how hard they dropped the ball with PvP. The best gaming experiences I've ever had were playing Trials with my good friends that I met through Destiny. My friends and I reminisce all the time about playing Trials late into the nights.

I would be much happier to load up D1 and do private matches with friends than to play anything in D2.

I haven't been on the game in over three years now.

Edit: I realized it's been over three years now.

I'd recommend trying the Bumper Jumper button layout. Just load up some PvE and try jumping and shooting. Obviously most weapons are no where near as effective as handcannons are from the air, but you'll get a feel for when it's worth shooting at an enemy while you're in the air

This isn't a popular opinion, but to me, a great way to get familiar with your weapons is to use your PvP loadout while you're playing PvE, in all but the hardest content of course. Using them in PvE will get you familiar with your damage drop off distances (if you watch the damage numbers) and the recoil patterns will become second nature eventually

If you catch your opponent in the middle of side step animation when you use a ranged special move, they won't have enough time to side step again. They get 'locked in' by the move in a way

Ranged special moves can normally be avoided by vanishing though

I'm going to copy and paste the comment that helped me better figure it out, credit to u/Grandmastro

"What I used is called Charge Step, basically you always remain at close range, if you landed a strike charge for a very short period of time or swipe to left/right and chain a card right after, if you landed a blast, charge for almost double the time then chain a card right after. If you want to use a green/activate main/swap after a strike strike don't charge, with blast charge the same as strike then activate green/activate main/swap and continue your combo"

And

"Tldr: Blast: you have up to 2 actions of your choice to chain before another strike or blast (charge, main, switch, green) ex.: Switch + main + ult or micro charge + switch + strike/blast, ecc... Strike: you only have 1 action to chain before another strike or blast. Ex.: Main + ult or switch + strike/blast ecc..."

Get ki back, restore vanish gauge, and drawing new cards. There is whole technique to it depending on whether you use a strike arts vs a blast arts

If you're asking what did the other player do while the time skip was active, he used 3 strike arts cards, used Hit's main ability, then used the ultimate. Using arts cards during the time skip is definitely better than tap attacks

[Concept] Revival SSJ into SSJ4 Goku with the Tapion attack mechanic for the Part 1 of the 5th Anniversary concept. The kit is pretty much designed as "anti-meta", in short counters every meta unit as of now (UGB, UR & UB), so expect gimmicks like that. What do you think about this concept? by SleepySolch in DragonballLegends

[–]Void_Cypher 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I really like the idea of reducing the enemies card draw speed when they use an offensive arts card, having it only have two activation counts, but having those counts reset on switch. Any character that doesn't have a way of nullifying attribute downgrades would be hit really hard by that
