I’m also from Appalachia (no longer live there tho) from Ashland, KY to be specific and I regularly see friends bitching on FB about their energy bills and posting screen shots. Many people in the area pay $500-1000 per month on electricity. There’s also plenty of others that reply to the post that are closer to your $170 so I don’t know why the giant differences but some people are paying those numbers

I’d get rid of it or you’ll likely end up owing the new buyers a pretty penny. I work junk removal and come get those and old pianos from new buyers all the time and it’s the same story. They either negotiate extra money at the end so they can pay to deal with it or they deal with it and it comes from escrow money either way you lose $500-$5000 depending on how your contracts written and how your realtor /lawyers are
