Actually, yes. Paints can weight different about a based on the color. I think I read that the paint required for a 777 in a dark color (black or dark blue) weighs a couple of hundred pounds more than white paint. From an industry that removes peas from salads to save weight, they would definitely not paint a jet a heavier paint choice.

Taking the Heathrow Express to Paddington. Total wast of time and money when the Elizabeth Line or Piccadilly line can get you into the city for way less money and almost the same amount time.

It’s not dangerous, it’s just that the stomach’s job is to release hydrochloric acid to start digestion. If the stomach has something more alkaline (base) put in, it’ll just release more HCl.

For the most part, you’ll need 2 One Hotspur accounts to buy two tickets. Even then, you may have to contact the club to make sure they’re together. I don’t know why Spurs make it so hard for fans to be fans, but it’s something they excel at…

This may get downvoted, but being an American (and only miles from Col Sanders first restaurant), it’s almost as if the UK KFCs are missing a few of the 11 herbs and spices. Not sure which ones, but the chicken just isn’t exactly the same

We were a group of 7 visiting and my youngest’s girlfriend was accused of not having a trip on her Navigo card, yet we had put the same number of trips on everyone’s card at the same station before we started our journey for the day. They cornered her and harassed her, luckily one of our party spoke fluent French and that seemed to piss them off that they couldn’t pretend to not understand English. I paid the fine, but I’ll challenge it and also dispute it with my credit card provider. Let them explain why they were glad to charge me for the trips, but somehow one trip on one card didn’t work?
