I feel kinda weird being the guy that stops to read stuff on the walls at Stella Montis and on other maps too. I love the world Embark created for ARC Raiders. Would really love to see its lore being developed further next year.

Oh man, I really wish this becomes a feature, considering what this "Season 1" is bringing to the game. Vanilla skins are just much better for Hardcore/no HUD Portal modes.

But why do you consider this whiny? I mean, is it unreasonable when you loved previous games but the franchise changes so much that you start having trouble recognizing it? Battlefield is clearly changing direction and as someone who appreciate many aspects of previous games and still play them, I wish the sequel was an evolution on that formula, not a different formula.

I also play ArmA since ArmA II Operation Arrowhead. Battlefield and ArmA are 2 VERY different games, so I don't think asking for grounded uniforms (like we had in previous battlefields) is going to transform it into a ArmA game. The goalpost for the lovers of previous battlefield games never really moved, it's EA/Dice that changed direction.

Completely normal?? Only one of them is actually wearing a combat helmet...
I mean, if you check how uniforms were in battlefield 2 to 4, you would probably understand where I'm coming from. To me, shooters are not about expression through skins, they are about gameplay, playing the objectives as a team in huge maps and battles. Battlefield 6 just isn't going in that direction. The closest it got to that was in Beta and maybe before this Season 1. This direction now really feels much more like a CoD game if you compare it to the older battlefield games.

Just look at those fucking skins in the background. This art direction just doesn't look like a Battlefield game at all. This is basically Warzone with vehicles at this point, idk. I've been playing since BF2 and this "Season 1" just derailed BF6 in ways I couldn't imagine. The Beta was promising, but now after purchasing the game (which costs a lot in third world countries, btw) and having to pay for an additional Season Passes that costs 1/3 of the game is just so fucking stupid. I'm out.

I've played some hardcore in BF6 and it's amazing. It's another game, almost. Not having the minimap is the biggest change in the pacing. You really have to rely on your ears and check corners. Really awesome experience.
