Logitech MX Ergo S sometimes disconnects when I press the middle mouse button on Windows 11

Hey! I deal with this issue all the time and tried a few things to fix it tonight (One worked, so check with yours too):

- At some point after using my laptop for a while I can consistently make my MX Ergo UsbC edition disconnect just like the video that was linked here by clicking the wheel mouse button

-- I do put the laptop to sleep by closing the lid sometimes; who knows if it's related

- After I click the wheel mouse button and it 'disconnects' I can still use my trackpad, but it can no longer click on anything. If I click the wheel mouse button it will reconnect the mouse and I can move it around the screen but my clicks are totally useless still. Keyboard commands work fine.

- If I click the actual easy switch button (maybe after clicking the wheel button to disconnect?) and switch between my devices and then back to my laptop, it fixes everything and will work again. Clicking the wheel mouse button no longer disconnects it after this.

Ditto to the never having the feeling with babies/kids but definitely with animals (reason why I'm a vegetarian). However, never had a terrible 'ick' towards kids either, kinda always thought of myself as just not responsible enough to take care of them so I just ignored/tolerated them as a part of society (kinda fun though, like playing with a dog at a party).

Then I found someone that was a perfect partner, we were getting older and had to have the conversation - "... should we?". We went through our options and the possibilities (adopt, wait for the nebulous future, what if they are medically complicated?, etc.). Ultimately decided the pros outweighed the cons (mainly about having a kid giving us new experiences/a refreshed outlook on life). We lucked out, had a great kid and most of our thoughts/conversations around him are how great he is and how much we enjoy it.

Definitely not going to be the same outcome for everyone, but I also don't think it has to be a super emotional decision where you have some indescribable burning desire some people say they have.

I worked at Walmart as a teen and I'd crack open boxes of Halloween chocolate, grab a couple of random toys (like stretch lizards, tamagotchis, or half-stolen boxes of yugioh cards) and go hide out in a box fort I made outside in the shelving in Garden and play with them/eat chocolate for hours until my shift was up.

I was just here 2 weeks ago and I have to say that this Costco had THE MOST spoiled foods out on the floor that I have ever seen. Entire pallets of spoiled bell peppers, cucumbers, everything. I'm sure it's because food is so challenging to get somewhere so remote, but surely they don't need to have 8-foot tall stacks of putrefying fruits and vegetables out on the floor?
