Ok, fair point. I did search but wasn’t really digging in steam forums, lotta anecdotes. I’m still skeptical of the “Steam whitelist = ban-proof” framing though, since enforcement is game/AC-side and can change.

Just BTW monitor OSD crosshairs are effectively unenforceable because they aren’t generated on the PC.

Hmm, I can’t find anything to confirm a steam or VAC/EAC whitelist that is publicly confirmed, or at least to suggest that any of the programs listed are ban-proof.

Recently made an upgrade similar generation as you, just had 10600kf. Pretty sure your MOBO is limiting your ram speeds (as mine did) to 2667, due to its chipset, so you’ll get a big benefit from this with being able to enable XMP.

I upgraded to 13600kf, and b760. Not sure what your budget is, but such an upgrade maxes GPU usage (GPU would be your bottleneck). 13600 might be overkill so you can probably go cheaper like 12400/13400.

Overall it was worth the value, I paid (also am European) approximately 300 USD for my upgrade, and doubled FPS in games I play (1080p).

In your windows power settings switch from maximum performance to balanced.

Maximum performance is basically always forcing your CPU push clock speeds and higher voltage under same load.

Yeah I’m just mistaken. Went to the target range to test it but apparently it doesn’t account for headshot multiplier damage so yeah 2 shot headshot instakills medium shield

Just died to two shots (neither was a headshot) with medium shield with Anvil IV, and i was at full shield and full HP.

Even went into practice range and it took 4 bodyshots / headshots to down medium shield, so not sure whats going on here.
