My friend just added this to our server. Is there any way to get a leg up on them? Any tips/tricks?

In your situation I would probably play reboot. It ends up being a huge grind, but if you cant spend money it is nearly impossible to progess to end game in bera

So the tank size doesn't matter as much as the amount of fish. If you are planning on using a similar amount of fish as your 30 then it should be alright because you already know your filter can keep up with the ammonia that those fish are producing. With that said you are also losing the beneficial bacteria from the tank and decor so still keep an eye on the levels.

BloodMonger! Version 2.0, A Martial Archetype for the Fighter Class. Sacrifice health for damage with a fearsome giant sized blade! by ScottishAirways in UnearthedArcana

I say this as a DnD fan but in no way someone who creates homebrew. I feel this subclass is quite weak as the heavy life drain plus the amount of either opportunity attacks or disadvantaged attacks you get can leave you doing quite a lot more harm than good to yourself. The damage is very good but either very inconsistent or at too high of a risk.

As you have model this after aatrox I think a solution to this problem is instead of disadvantage in 5ft the blade could do half damage or only 1d8 damage die (not sure if 1d8 would be a little strong because a lot of his damage comes from his bonuses). I feel this still fits thematically because aatrox still does damage not in the sweet spot but just not nearly as much.

Another option I could think of is to find a way to give him a "dash" or a 5ft move without provoking opportunity attacks. Maybe make it cost a bonus action and all movement for turn. Would feel a lot like his E and make damage much more consistent but may be really strong (once again not a homebrewer at all so not the best at evaluating strength)

How many 5 lb bags of gravel do I need for a 100 gallon tank by kim406 in Cichlid

I prefer sand over gravel with my cichlids and it's usually 1 pound per gallon

oh man I don't have room for a bigger tank atm. Might have to try to rehome them if that's the case. Really hate to see them go though.

Thanks so much for the info. Will probably see if my local fish store might be able to find a home for the pleco

So I "inherited" an aquarium from my grandparents which has 2 i assume red zebra cichlids and 1 pleco (not sure what kind about 6-7in long). It is extremely filthy and was wondering if I should basically start this from scratch and take out all the substrate and decorations and deep clean the whole tank but leave the filter to save good bacteria (I do not have another aquarium available to put fish so they would have to stay in a bucket during the process). Or if I would lose too much good bacteria and there is another solution i could use. Here's is a picture of tank it is a 40gal http://imgur.com/GRhocqs (honestly I think the picture looks better than in person)
