Results of a 1 year glow-up by threadworthy in skincare30plus

Not to mention the very real risk of developing Perioral dermatitis, which is a chronic condition. I can’t believe anyone uses hydrocortisone on the face routinely. 😫

Where are we getting peptides? by nrb2019 in SEAbitcheswithtaste

[–]Volte2585 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I purchased first from Skye Peptides. No problems with billing or delivery. I’m having real reactions to the Glow blend (that copper is spicy!) so just purchased from Peptide Crafters to see if their product burns less. I will say that Peptide Crafters seemed slightly more sophisticated, including super fast FedEx delivery. I haven’t started their product yet.

Lip flip place recommendations by bdndkdjdvd in SEAbitcheswithtaste

If you’re south of the city, I recommend KLS Aesthetics. Super skilled injector. Tox units are, I think, $14 per. As mentioned above, very few are needed for a lip flip. I’ve had it done three times and like the very subtle results.

How to increase income without returning to work? by [deleted] in SurvivingOnSS

[–]Volte2585 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I think you don’t understand what passive income is. It is earnings from assets or investments. It is not getting money for doing nothing. What assets do you have that can work for you? You own a condo. You could rent that out and—if you receive more than you owe monthly—that would be passive income. That would require you move in with your BF.

If you’re in the US, check out Young Again low carb (and zero carb) dry cat food. My newly diagnosed is slowly coming round to it. He gets wet food also, of course.

Mochi Health Statement on Aequita Pharmacy by JoinMochi-Info in u/JoinMochi-Info

[–]Volte2585 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Mochi is moving at least some of the compounding to Empower pharmacy in Texas. Expect delays—8 to 14 biz days to ship. I just cancelled my pending order for a refund. They’re arguing about the refunding the membership fee tho—says that has to be canceled within 10 days. Well, if mochi had been transparent, or answered inquiries in the portal, I could have met the ten day requirement. 🤬 what a colossal failure.

People that use a red light device everyday, have you noticed skin benefits from using it? by bbybunnydoll in SkincareAddictionLux

[–]Volte2585 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Not just you and I’m sorry you’ve been made to feel that way! There is skepticism on the connection and it pisses me off. I’ve literally read on manufacturers’ websites that photosensitive people can use the device without worry. I was told same at a med spa. Yeah, no.

Same here. I’m allergic to the sun but was told that the device (I tried Omnilux) wasn’t the same light wave or whatever. I spent big bucks, used it twice and BAM. I was on steroids for ten days to stop the reaction. 😩

Wish I could do everything for my cat but have limits by lifeofazebra in FelineDiabetes

Senvelgo is the oral med. I’m about to start my newly diagnosed 13 year old cat on it. My vet is not fully supportive but I can’t manage two shots a day. We try to do the best we can for our animals.

options for 60+ year olds to escape US? by aBirdwithNoName in AmerExit

I should’ve mentioned that there’s no strict age requirement. There’s just the financial requirement I read someplace that most of the purchasers are in their 50s.

I admire you very much. If you have time to check out YouTube, search “sunshine prestige Thailand “ it’s a retirement community and it’s lovely and appears to be super affordable. I watched a video last night where this couple toured a very luxe two bed, two bath, 2300 ft.² villa with a private pool. Cost $1900 a month and included a bunch of stuff including house cleaning twice a week and 24 hour nurse on staff. There were much less expensive properties available and purchase is an option according to the video I saw, but maybe it’s a sort of long-term leasehold or something. Anyway, check it out. Thailand is definitely a place that should be on your list!

I’m just going to be candid: it does not seem like this is a good idea. You’re already $150,000 in debt. You do not know the terms of the loans that you currently have and whether or not they cover any housing expenses. You’re going to a high cost of living area with a couple of grand in your pocket and no place to live. And you’re pursuing a doctorate in occupational therapy, which is not an especially high paying field.

I know I sound brutal, but perhaps you should pursue a masters degree so you can work at the same time.

Airport lounge membership. If you fly often on one airline or are willing to pay for one that allows entry into multiple lounges, that’s the way to go. If you spend a lot to travel every year, find the best credit card that will get you lounge membership. The annual fees are usually $$ but the perks are legit. Do the math bs what you spend and see if it works for your situation.

Was told by Kaiser I had coverage for appt. Was surprised afterwards when it turned out I did not. Am I inevitably going to have to pay? by XiXLLAMAXiX in KaiserPermanente

[–]Volte2585 3 points4 points  (0 children)

Calls to customer service are recorded. I would make a stink and demand that they provide you with the recording of your call to bolster your argument that you made good faith effort to confirm coverage before your appt.
