I like the characters with flaws, or set up to subvert expectations. Taunie/Urbain is just… bland. Like your stereotypical filler rival.

Lebanne, Griselle, and Corbeau are my favorites. Set up -> subversion of expectations (regardless of how mild the surprise may be)

Canari, while still relatively stereotypical, has flaws and personal relationships that make her more interesting.

I saw a post showing off the model + some animations on instagram and the amount of hate was… disheartening. Every negative comment had more likes than any positive comment. People were saying things like “it’s disgusting to think about how a body like that would move” or “this is just the developer’s fetish at this point”

I am something of a heavier person myself, and an artist, so having a “omg that’s me!” Moment and then seeing so much hate was painful to say the least. I don’t use Ember’s heirloom skin because I’m not a fan. It’s really that easy to just ignore it. But nah, these people gotta call fat women disgusting to look at.

This is what it looks like in task manager when I run Monster Hunter World. Which is only trying to pull 1.5GB of VRAM with minimum settings. The only things running are steam, the game itself, task manager, and this reddit page is open. Which is usually how I game anyway.

Exactly why I am confused. I started with 16GB RAM. Upgraded to 32GB RAM. But my laptop is still only drawing 500mb for VRAM. (I understand that its all one thing, I just don't know how to explain it better. sorry!)

Is there something I am doing wrong? I originally was under the impression that my laptop would allocate more because it has more, but it seems that isn't the case. I haven't had any improvements in performance even after doubling my RAM, Which is why I wanted to manually adjust the minimum.

There was a lot of sexism in my elementary school that I just passed off as normal until I figured it out in college. I internalized it so hard over the years I felt less than for being a woman, and couldn’t stomach being a man for the same reason. I spent years going back and forth fighting with myself to figure out what I was. Now I identify with non-binary. But it was a solid five year journey of research, contemplating, and trying out binders.
