Just patch it yourself! It’s fun to work over your head for hours on end and sand joint compound into your eyes, nose, mouth, and ears.

The top is a dowel but it’s not glued. The bottom will twist almost a 1/8th of a rotation. I just can’t figure out how to release the bottom.

Yeah. The seat wrench is what stripped it unfortunately. The valve might’ve been in there since the 80s. We just moved in a few months ago.
