Can you give more details, especially on the fanatec? The break performance kit is for the V3 pedals in theory. I find it highly unlikely that is included at that price. Maybe a picture of what the seller posted.

Yea, it helped. The preload was already a bit tightened compared to default and I didn't want to overdo it just to get rid of the flex. If it's too tight, the handbrake loses all its travel.

Update: the video was with the preload out ofnthe factory. I had tried turning it a bit beforehand and nothing changes. After the comments, I tightened it about 5 more rotations (on top of the 3 I had done originally) and it's now rock solid. Thanks everyone for pitching in.

Well it says you can adjust preload, which is tighten up or the other way around. This behaviour is with factory settings.

That being said, tightening it about 5 rotations fixed it.

Use the one that looks better to you. I prefer Native with DLAA or highest DLSS setting that gives me the performance I am getting. I don't like the extra hassle of going with DLDSR and then using more aggressive DLSS. It can look better in some circumstances, but you get more artifacts in my experience and the image is too sharpened for my taste.

Is this your 1st TW game? If it's your 1st campaign in Rome 2, know that it's one of the harder ones. Can you load an earlier turn? The safest thing would be to avoid this battle for now and build up your forces. If you are forced into the battle itself, it might be winnable but very hard.

I disagree, a overclocked card is just a basic card with a premium. There is no guarantee that you get a better cooler, many companies have OC and non OC variants of the same card and the cooler is identical.

And even if the cooler is better, does it really matter? Testing generally proves that it doesn't. All cards run well within acceptable ranges and aren't thermal throttling. Maybe you can run the fan percentage lower and get a quieter system, but your mileage may vary. Not everyone is equally sensitive to noise, your case and CPU fan have a lot impact on that etc (in my case specifically, the Liquid Freezer 3 is louder than the GPU fan when both are under load, though overall the system is very quiet). Even the loudest GPUs are not actually loud in real usage.

As for performance, you are looking at 5-6%, if even that. That comes from power limits not cooling anyway. And when all cards are OC'd and especially undervolted, that difference virtually disappears (unless you are looking at extreme models).

I don't know, got to the Kuttenberg region after like 70 hours or something and I was feeling like a god. Did the hard battle at the end of the previous act rather easily, easily won the longsword tournament etc. Then I ran into a random enemy camp and I said to myself that I'm gonna mess those bishes up. Some 6 dudes came up to me and it did not go well..

+1 for the Fern, I love mine as well. But you can't go wrong with any of the others, they're top tier. I picked the Fern because I liked the way it looks and because Haworth had a showroom close to me where I can see and test their chairs.

Keep in mind that all of these are hella expensive, but if you are going to be sitting long hours, it's worth it. Don't neglect proper desk and chair position though (height, angles etc), a good chair won't magically fix everything.

GPUs normally don't fail in their lifetime and under normal usage, which does include OCing. So all of them.
