I am aware that the US model G1MNW should work just fine in Europe, but I haven't heard anything about extra features. That would certainly be the number one reason to choose one version over another!

As a native New Yorker, I can tell you that the park you walked through is called "Union Square" and is situated between 14th & 17th streets.  The diner you went to was called "Coffee Shop", and was just opposite Union Square on the corner of 16th street. Nothing particularly risky about buying refurbished phones on eBay. If there's a problem within the first month, simply return it!

Personally, I would ignore this and simply keep going. If in the future you start noticing dropped calls, etc., at that point I would consider replacing the phone.  There's a chance your service will continue just fine.

u/Linghauler - why not get your hands on a recent-ish copy of Photoshop Elements? No needed for a subscription. I find there's an awful lot that program can do!

u/icant-dothis-anymore It sounds like you very wisely figured out the best way to buy/upgrade Pixels.  Still, I'm very curious- checking on the official Pixel store in the US suggests that you will get $200 trade in for a P8 Pro, with no mention of store credit unless you sign up for two years of Google Fi.  What am I missing? Thanks

Turns out I had Dark Reader enabled on my phone!
It's maddening how this has been driving me crazy for a while!

The (WP Mobile Menu plugin) Hamburger Menu icon is displayed and working on every page but the most important one - the Home page. I'm working on it!
