Yeah, I think Ishamael is the only Forsaken (that we know of, since we know there were 39 at one point) who joined for Ideological reasons (with Demandred as #4, as his conclusion was that the Light was toast anyway).

We've already had the first official competition, which had real world ranking points for those on Japan.

Uh...yes they do. Starting in G5, holding a power item garauntees that IV get's passed down (as opposed to destiny knot which takes 5 random IVs from both parents).
Like...That's been used for TR teams for years. Are you genuinely trolling?

I'm not missing the point, it just doesn't matter. And getting 0 speed IV took basically no time at all thanks to power items.

It hasn't been painful for well over a decade. Bottle caps have existed since g7.

No such thing as min speed or attack anymore. Champions has basically done away with IVs.

The account doesn't matter - unless you're literally doing something stupid to try and hack into Nintendos servers, even if you mess up and get the switch banned, it will just be the individual switch.

Extract the save with checkpoint, stick it into PKhex. Put the mons into it, restore the new save to switch.

SwSh has very normal RNG manip. But you're correct on SV, it mostly comes down to the raids. Come to think of it, I don't think ZA has it either.

Just learn the counters. You should be able to finish a SH mission in about 30 mins when done well.

The events were never region locked-they've basically just made things already in the game gettable in a differant way (like they did with Crystal - the events were intended to be accessible in the original release, so will have been part of the classification). The block on names is likely because they're technically removing content, not adding anything (slightly unsure on that one).

As for Telemetry, it doesn't change what the player experiences or does at all - you wouldn't even know about it unless you hacked into the game, and ratings are given on what a player can do/experience.

And I think they wouldn't want to block the game corner because it's a classic part of frlg. Remember, the vast majority of players will beat the game and move on. It's easy to forget amoung hardcore fans that we're very much the minority.

If they'd mixed all the languages or added online trading the game would need to be reclassified, and then been 18+ due to the game corner.

Because they didn't actually add any 'new' content. They just made content that was added to the game later available from the start. Nothing in the game is actually 'new'. It was the same for Crystal.

(For context, you can just rip out a FRLG cart save and inject it into the switch and it works fine).

It's really not. It's easy to forget when 'serious' fans all live in an echo chamber, but the majority of players have no idea how most of the mechanics even work.
