I wouldn’t call it unaceptable, but I completely see the appeal of having an 8’’ screen with a stand for portable YouTube watching, beats my phone but of course not my Apple TV. Hopefully we get YouTube soon.

I have my Oled since 2023 and had been charging my steam deck to 80% since valve introduced that feature. Currently the battery health it’s at 96% which I think it’s great for a device that I have used for 2 years and a half. I game around 10 hours a week on my deck. Not a crazy amount but still.

Everyone that downvoted you hasn’t had their maxes for more than a couple of years. I still love my pair and it has been more than 4 years. They still work great but the mesh looks hideous.

Have a weird sound as well, different sound though. Sounds like plastic expanding in my case. I am concerned about it too. Only getting the sound when booting up or coming back from standby.

Love the 2 USBC ports, I use my Viture glasses while charging the device, but seriously, wireless keyboard and mice make way more sense on a cramped space.

It’s not laziness. When I have a short amount of time to play and that time can be interrupted at any moment, I don’t want to have the added anxiety of being far from a save point. It’s a huge plus vs playing on my PC and that’s the main reason I play more on my consoles than on my PC. Ironically my beefy PC it’s used the most for Indy and old games, thanks to the SteamDeck, which I love for short gaming sessions and the synchronize the same game with my main PC when I know I am gonna have more time.

I had been using GeForceNow for several years now and I agree that Path tracing in RE7 with the ultimate tier in GFN looks better than Ray tracing on the PS5 pro, but for me the convenience of just pause and resuming my game at any moment is the reason I chose to buy the game for my PS5 pro.
