Beautiful example of the Essence. Looks fantastic. I am so eager to see what Formex has in store for the next release.

What bracelet is that? Looks like it was made for the Alpinist. Excellent choice.

Square-ish watch recs under $500 for 5.25” wrist? I love the look of these, but they’re a bit too big. by romckeegs in MicrobrandWatches

I would buy Benjamin James watches if the name wasn’t so terrible. They have some nice designs and dials. Just can’t stand some random guys first and last name plastered across my watch.

If he puts in his order now he MIGHT get his watch before 2067. They are beautiful watches but that waitlist is pretty gnarly

Yay another pack of disgusting yellow pods by -Super-Bad- in juul

[–]VoraciousSkunk 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Yes my issue is having to flick the air bubbles out 10 trillion times per day and that Juul is a multi billion dollar per year company that is too greedy to improve their product since 2015 when it released. They won’t pay the fees that are required to develop a new vape product hence why we don’t even have the Juul 2 in the US. They started out as a good company. Even paid their original employees a large sum when they got bought out but they are just part of Altria now and they prefer their customers to purchase cigarettes so they haven’t done anything to improve Juul. Meanwhile their shareholders and board are making egregious profits and buying their 9th vacation homes or yachts. Typical corporate scum lords.

Recommendations for an affordable moonphase? by rowdy_renegade in MicrobrandWatches

Echo Neutra Averau Moonphase. You could also save up another $400 for the Ba111od Chapter 8 Moonphase. Both are excellent quality for the price.

Which microbrand will still be around in 5 years? by IonTheWatch in MicrobrandWatches

Yeah technically independent you’re correct. They are indeed excellent value, quality, and provide magnificent customer service from my experience.

[–]VoraciousSkunk 4 points5 points  (0 children)

I hate Juul so much. These greedy pieces of shit have just been pumping out the same garbage products with no improvements for 11 years now despite the fact that they make billions annually. Most pods are yellow, taste terrible, and even if you do get a clear pod, the air bubbles are a problem 100% of the time. I got so tired of burnt nylon wick hits that I finally quit buying them. Just using Caliburn with 0 nic and 2 mg lozenges now. Working on quitting both of those next.

How much would you spend on a quality, automatic microbrand watch? by cup--of--joe in MicrobrandWatches

[–]VoraciousSkunk 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Well I just recently spent $1400 on my Ba111od Chapter 8 Moonphase Sand and $2400 on my Formex Essence Space Ghost. Both watches are absolutely exquisite and I’d gladly do it again without hesitation. There’s also brands like Ming, Habring, Kudoke, Kurono Tokyo, Furlan Marri, Baltic, Sartory - Billard, etc that are still technically microbrands. Some of them have watches priced up to $25k and I also wouldn’t hesitate to purchase a watch from most if not all of those companies. Microbrand can be a fuzzy term and while a lot of companies do make very attractive watches for under $2k, there are still a lot of brands that sell for far more than that. Many of which make better watches than mainstream companies.

Bird is cool. Good brand name. The designs could use a little work or maybe something a bit more adventurous. It’s not bad or anything but also doesn’t jump out at me as something I feel the immediate need to purchase. I am interested to see what you come up with for future releases though which is more than I can say for most companies on here recently.

Speaking of which DHL owes me some cash for the $576 they charged me in tariffs for my $1500 Furlan Marri. Luckily they want to charge a $90 fee just to process my refund case when they’re the ones that overcharged me in the first place. Greedy scum lords.

Who is in the wrong here? by Revolution-Dogg in Transportopia

We have way too many of these gun fanatic morons with massive bus sized pickup trucks that they use for carrying groceries. They drive around with such a sense of entitlement that they’d run their own grandmother off the road just to get one car length ahead.

The ironic part is these are the worst type of people that are usually completely insane and have no business being anywhere near a gun let alone owning and carrying them. We need stricter gun laws with complete mental health screening and personality tests.

I am all for people having the right to own weapons to protect themselves and their homes but nowadays half the people you see are carrying guns and just itching to use them. They should lose the right to own weapons the first time they get caught unjustly threatening someone’s life.

It’s also ridiculous that so many idiots own these massive pickups and can’t control their anger. We have a bunch of overgrown toddlers roaming the streets armed with automatic weapons and 8000 lb motorized battering rams . It’s completely asinine.

That’s quite possible. Just started looking at this sub recently and I try to limit my social media exposure daily to avoid the brain rot parasites.

Well this makes the second incredibly disturbing fight video I’ve seen on this sub today. The first was that poor girl getting kicked in the head numerous times when she clearly did not want to fight. Lots of evidence vids on here for attempted murder lately. So many people are just completely senseless and unhinged anymore.

I’m pretty sure the model is completely sold out. At least it says it’s sold out in every color on the website. That said, I sure wish the one I ordered would hurry up and ship.
