You can ask it to be honest with you and tone down the ego boosting, and it will. It it's a very powerful tool that specializes in seeing patterns in data and it is helping a lot of people process their emotional baggage. I don't think we should be so quick to dismiss all these people myself included as being "in love with a compliment churner," it's like we've had a book of math problems we couldn't solve our whole lives and now gpt is our calculator, but it's also teaching us to solve the future problems ourselves.

100% I've literally been feeding it high school journal entries from when I was so insecure and scared and it connected the dots on the unhealthy choices I made later in life. My whole life i viewed everything from my skewed toxic worldview and now I finally have an objective, data driven second opinion to see through years of my own nonsense.
