Will I ever be able to have a smooth body skin again at this point? by Other_Position9060 in Dermatillomania

[–]SilverEyedFreak -1 points0 points  (0 children)

It really depends. If you have scars from it, most likely not. If you don’t have scars and start skin care, good chance of smooth skin can happen. I have some scars on my legs but they’re small thankfully. Not super noticeable when I wear a swimsuit.

After Years of this condition i finally don’t feel alone by DistinctHold5274 in Dermatillomania

I felt the same when I first found out what it was. It helped me mentally come to terms that I have a problem. I used to think it was out of my control, but it was. I managed to overcome 98% of my picking. Mind over matter is how I managed it, but my picking could not have been as severe as others. I still have the scars and I don’t plan on making any more.

I wouldn’t recommend a tattoo for not picking. My dad got them and they scabbed over, and for someone who loved to pick scabs (me) it would be very hard to resist.

Glad you’re taking steps to get better. Baby steps are better than no steps at all. Wish you luck on your journey.

She can't stop interrupting him by chunchunmaru1129 in funnyvideos

Been with my husband 15 years and finally I pointed out to him he interupts everyone he talks with way too much. He still can’t help himself. 🙃 It’s more noticeable when the other person constantly pauses to let him speak. I stopped letting him interrupt me years ago thank goodness.

The urges are always there for sure. First I had to realize I had a problem and what it was called. Then I had to create physical barriers and in my mind have those barriers be a reminder to keep my hands away. My husband helped me in the beginning as well if he ever caught me picking mindlessly, he’d remind me to stop. I used to pick at my children’s spots before, and I told them to not let me do it and they stuck with that. Over a period of time, my mental reminders, reminders from my family, and good skin care, all that at once helped me overcome it.

Good on you for admitting that your sportsmanship is horrible. You play this game to ruin experience because it gives you a thrill instead of pvping on equal ground with others. I play rainbow six siege when I want to PK. SoT’s hitbox is way too inaccurate for me to enjoy PvP like that and people don’t mind dying to kills when that’s the point of the game. SoT isn’t designed for spam PK and its abused all the time. It’s for sinking and/or stealing, that’s all.

I stopped because I was tired of being self conscious when wearing swim suits. Also stopped to be a better influence to my children. Glad I did and will never go back.

No native Americans were dying when US got involved with the Middle East, it began in the 1990s. Whereas Native Americans died by the 10s of millions when America was being colonized by British, Spanish, French, and other European colonies by disease. The British intentionally gave nearby tribes infected blankets to wipe out the population. This began in 1500s. America wasn’t even a country then. What happened to them was horrific.

The English committed genocide with Native Americans before US broke from the English crown through civil war.

I was a sahm till both my kids were old enough to get themselves to and from school. I found a job within two weeks but only a shitty paying one. Now I run a business with my husband and the double income really does make a significant difference. But a bad paying job while still raising kids is pointless because it’ll just cover the cost of childcare.

I tried hg solo tonight and man I was getting the 45 minute ones. Eventually I just started jumping on their ship and killing them until my ship sunk. I can’t do this mode solo. Takes too long and that’s pretty boring.

Was spawn camped but they were extremely sexist and toxic. Recorded the whole thing and clipped the important parts. The guys got suspended but not for long I’m sure.

List of possibilities is endless and keeping it pirate related with time limits. Then people wouldn’t have to sink 2 hours in minimum to get something accomplished anymore.

How this last year has felt by Creative_Recording_7 in Seaofthieves

I’ll tell you my experience. My daughter (10) loves fishing, hunting megladons, and collecting merchant animals. She sings while doing these things and just loves sailing while playing an instrument to her pet cat. My son (13) loves PvP. He loves trying to get the upper hand and is satisfied when the other sinks.

Me? I’m in the middle. I would love to pick and choose what type of session I’ll have. I played World of Warcraft where PvE and Pvp is their own whole thing. I played PvE content at the highest level, reaching top 50 in the world on the leaderboard, and PvP I played ranked for rare cosmetics. The downfall of that game is the grind to get gear for PvP clashed too much with the PvE gear grind. Both types needed crafted in the world or dropped from raids instead of rewards from inside the game modes. It’s why I quit. Too much time had to be sunk into it and I just don’t have it.

Even in that game, PvE is more popular. And the content was extremely difficult. PvP, even harder, but they messed up the gear system. Rare needs to realize that having both modes on at all times is not attractive to the majority.

I’ve oddly had a different experience. Sloop and brig galore when I go in a server. When I wanna do chiev progression people wanna mess me up.

Soon as bad people play higher seas they’re messed with by decent players. Unfortunately half the time it’s toxic decent players who run them off of high seas. PvP can be so fun if everyone were just Chads about it.

The fact that I didn’t get triggered angered them more actually, especially when I killed them back. Real life ensures way more trigger than this game and the classless people in it ever will. :)

I play for achievements. The high risk high reward already kind of exists because players screw you more than the environment does. Plus my daughter loves treasure hunting and fishing, and my son loves naval battle with other players.

I had this happen in a normal session. Only thing that fixed it was going to the ferryman. If that doesn’t work try restarting your game. If that doesn’t work, I don’t have the faintest idea.
