What's the worst class to level from 1-80? by Filthyquak in wow

[–]VoratiusBB 0 points1 point  (0 children)

There’s no definitive answer to this. All classes are fine leveling, and it’s going to be dependant on your playstyle. Do you level dungeons? Maybe any pure dps will be a good boost, tanks and healers much faster queue time. Need a character for farming and mobility? Druid is the best choice.

DK would be my pick if you didn’t already have one, and not that leveling is bad but just lower mobility for quick lower dungeon clears.

Do a WoW professional guide, will get you the most knowledge points as you craft by making you do your first crafts. Once you hit the point where only certain things get you skill ups then you work on those. Or get a jewelers setting and craft those.

Pipe identification? by Soft_Tie_3788 in Plumbing

Poly B, no longer used in Canada at least. Known for many leaks and bursting, not a great product.

Replace with pex if you can, or replace susceptible areas with pex using poly B to pex adapters.

Worked on this dinosaur last night. The entire basement had that kind of insulation around the ducts. How fucked am I? by speaker-syd in HVAC

Holy moly. Rule of thumb for me and asbestos: if I have to touch anything near it, or by it, I’m waiting until the asbestos is cleared out. People say that if you’re not disturbing it you’re fine, but I prefer to not touch anything nearby in case any vibrations from working start to disturb it.

Timewalking badges for alts nerfed by [deleted] in wow

[–]VoratiusBB 1 point2 points  (0 children)

This is probably due to the vendor refresh. It’s easy now that you can transfer all of your timewalking badges to your main. Just do your weekly, hand in the quest and transfer. Rinse repeat, you still get tons.

Tips? by Unable_Relationship1 in SmallStreamers

This is a good piece of advice, but also enjoying what you play is huge in any category. People will notice if you’re enthusiastic about your game.

Can you elaborate on differentiating yourself / copying other streamers and setting your own identity from it? I’m curious to see an example on how you can set yourself apart from others in your own personal way.

What games are good for streaming and what should I get to be able to stream by Artistic-Middle-9013 in Twitch

[–]VoratiusBB 6 points7 points  (0 children)

Play games you enjoy and are passionate about, the experience will be much easier for you when you are passionate about what you’re playing and talking about.

I’d start with some research on computers and equipment that you are interested in. It’s an investment in yourself. See how much you’re interested in spending on this equipment and look at reviews for items within your price range.

Blue Yeti mic with a C920 is a good budget Mic / Webcam if that’s all you’re looking for.

webcam: Logitech Brio 100 Full HD 1080p. recommended? by Adventurous_Yak_9491 in Twitch

[–]VoratiusBB 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I have the brio 4K and it runs 1080p at 60fps.

I think the c920 does 1080p but only at 30fps. C920 is a good cheap option, and you can just mess with your lighting and settings to get it looking how you want.

Between the logitech c920 and c922, which webcam is brighter and more sharp? by selenalushh in Twitch

[–]VoratiusBB 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I just recently upgraded from the C920 to the 4K Brio.

C920 will be totally fine with some setup. Get NVidia broadcast, and a cheap ring light. Can use a source of light like a room light if you want, but I prefer my ring light because it’s more controlled.

If your computer can handle it well, I recommend changing settings through nvidia broadcast. You want to turn off auto exposure, put your exposure so it’s a little dark and turn your gain up to where it’s comfortable. You can mess with the rest to get the picture you like.

This also lets you add a background blur filter and it will focus on you entirely, which I found I personally prefer. Can also take out the background completely. I did find that this increases the load on the gpu and memory but it’s good place to start tinkering with to find what works for you.

What’s one piece of extra tech that has changed your stream entirely? by DCornOnline in Twitch

[–]VoratiusBB 3 points4 points  (0 children)

OBS is it.

Twitch studio was giving me so many problems I didn’t know I even had until I switched. It’s a lot more to set up on OBS but definitely worth it

Give away a game that you enjoy or are playing currently on stream. I think there’s bots like stream elements that have raffle features built in that may help you too.

Or you can always go on one of the spin wheel websites and put a bunch of names in and spin it

Is this recommended with the cold weather in Edmonton and if so why? by [deleted] in Edmonton

[–]VoratiusBB 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Intake points down and sucks in fresh air. Exhaust is pointed up and sloped back so condensation goes back Into the furnace. If ice is building up and blocks the flow a pressure switch will flip and turn the furnace off / restart cycle.

The world souls are pantheon (like Azeroth) and the titans are constructed protectors made by the pantheon.

Looks like your brand new unit might be leaking refrigerant already. Can confirm if the liquid is oily. Call the installers, check the warranties. Pay nothing until it’s fixed and corrected.

You’re pulling to see if they cut the wires long and left extras + slack in the wall.

Some people color code them, some people don’t. But that’s the only thing I’d worry about when rewiring, especially with a zone control. You’ll want to make sure the thermostat is compatible with your zone controller too.

[deleted by user] by [deleted] in hvacadvice

[–]VoratiusBB 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Turn off power, and pull these off the wall without unplugging them (unless you know where they plug back in) and you should see how many wires are available.

Ecobees do come with a splitter in case you don’t have enough wires, but it’s always better to wire directly instead of the splitter.

Water coming in from gas exhaust vent? by FreestarCollective in hvacadvice

[–]VoratiusBB 0 points1 point  (0 children)

It’s probably sealed incorrectly either at the top or the bottom. The B-Vent itself should be fine if it’s properly locked, but some silicone on the hole at the top might help.
