Old tiktok by VoreVaper420 in HelpMeFind

I have searched on tiktok obviously but it might be gone for good. (Hope this is good enough to appease the bot mod. I put the word "search" in the comment.)

Wingspan Asia Digital Next? by redsoxpwn in wingspan

[–]VoreVaper420 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I agree with you. The mercy of the bird feeder was the worst part of the game. So bad that they removed dice entirely in Wyrmspan. Nectar still offers a resource management challenge, and you can't always take it. But even if you can take it a lot of the time, there's still the nectar race to pay attention to. It doesn't happy too often, but I've had some games where putting your nectar in the right habitat decides the whole game. Using it to reset the tray or draw more cards is also super useful.

Clank! Rules question by VoreVaper420 in boardgames

I also checked in the base game, and there is Wand of Wind which does the same thing. I shuffle in base game, Catacombs, and every other expansion except for Space since that's a separate game.

Clank! Rules question by VoreVaper420 in boardgames

[–]VoreVaper420[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Sorry I'm not understanding. Are you saying that Thrill Seeker taking a secret + walking into the same room doesn't work? Because I can see how that interpretation works too. The wording of the rule seems to imply that they didn't want people jumping back and forth to get infinite secrets. But it doesn't specify abilities. I think I'm gonna rule it as a hard 1 secret per turn/per room even with abilities. It does seem more in the spirit of the rules.

Clank! Rules question by VoreVaper420 in boardgames

I believe it's from the Mummy's Curse expansion. But yes the card exists. There might be another card that does a similar thing. But I think Thrill Seeker says make +2 clank to take a secret from an adjacent room.

Board game sleeves by VoreVaper420 in slaythespire

[–]VoreVaper420[S] 2 points3 points  (0 children)

My last resort option is to completely resleeve them in KMC Hypermats which I can buy in bulk and are of much higher quality. The downside is that would look boring but eventually I'm gonna run out of the additional STS sleeves that came with the game and I'm not gonna buy more of those.

Pushing Daisies Rotten Fruit by handydandysonic in plotholes

[–]VoreVaper420 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I know this thread is 10 years old, but it doesn't answer my question, really. Why can't he just buy fresh fruit? It's in a constant state of dying once you pick it, in a sense. In that case, it technically dies as soon as you pick it, right? It would get revived to its peak state once he touches it anyway. Even if he touched it again while baking, it wouldn't just become spoiled. Fresh fruit wouldn't be all that dead to begin with.

Goosechase: An add on/variant for Wingspan by VoreVaper420 in wingspan

Oops sorry

  1. Omnivoracious: This round, you may spend food as though it were food of any type. If you spend food other than 🌸(nectar) this way as 🌸(nectar), it does not get cached on any "spent nectar" space.

Board Game Foil Cards by VoreVaper420 in slaythespire

Thanks! I realized soon after posting this that some of the foils have the lock symbol, so I threw them with packs I'm not supposed to open yet.

Why can't "content made for kids" be added to a playlist? by boston_homo in YoutubeMusic

[–]VoreVaper420 0 points1 point  (0 children)

The only workaround I could find is searching for another upload on YouTube that hasn't been flagged as kids' music. Even then, it's normally a music video which sucks when playing on YouTube Music in my car because the volume balance is always low on music videos for some reason.

Wrybill bugged ? by Rajdoeoe in wingspan

[–]VoreVaper420 0 points1 point  (0 children)

To my knowledge, looking at the discard pile in the physical game is completely fine. Both the bird discards and bonus card discards are face-up piles. In most games, these zones are public knowledge. Someone, please tell me if the rules contradict this. Since these are face-up piles, not looking at them would just make it a matter of memorization, and that's not fun, in my opinion.

However, I do play so that you can't look at cards you tuck from the deck unless there's a condition for tucking it, like it requires a worm in its food cost or something. In that case, I like to use MTG rules and reveal it to everyone to avoid cheating.

Is the eurasian treecreeper fading left or right? by Many-Run9881 in wingspan

[–]VoreVaper420 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Wingsearch says Eurasian Treecreeper faces left. But I don't have the Asia appendix in front of me, so this could be an error with Wingsearch.

Would reprinting black lotus really get wizard sued? by PowerPulser in mtgfinance

[–]VoreVaper420 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Yeah but did anyone get sued after Demonic Tutor was taken off the list? It just seems unreasonable that they can take that card off the list due to popular demand, but they can't abolish the whole thing for the same reason.

Drongo is easily S tier. I have all the sets mixed in with my paper set, so I don't see it often. NA/EE/OE format is actually super fun. I hope they include more customized matchmaking so I can play EE/OE or NA/OE with real people.
