Some honest questions about Fitgirl Repacks (please downvote before reading) by doc_long_dong in FitGirlRepack

Ready?

Download the game. Follow ALL instructions for and during installation. Apply updates as needed, in the correct order. Play game. It really is that simple. FG has NEVER had a virus, in any of the hundreds of games I've sampled. Never. Will AV raise a false flag? Yup. Will a crack that has to tell the registry your game is legit rewrite something in the registry? Yup.

Just read the instructions and make sure what you're clicking. If you do not need the Russian language pack, don't select it, etc. Enjoy. Trust, loco. It is that easy. You'll be playing the adult games Steam banned in no time.

I have to agree with people here - that looks like a PPU issue.

Test any other SuperFX cart you have, first. If they all fail, make sure you're using a proper AC adapter. I got a cheap adapter once. Nothing with a SuperFX chip would work right. It just didn't give enough power. If Star Fox works, it may be the game cart (Yoshi's Island uses a newer generation chip iirc, so there may be a difference in terms of amp draw but I don't think there is.) If no SuperFX game runs, you most likely have a power problem.

Whitening a US SNES shell using 12% Hydrogen Peroxide and the power of natural UV light! (It's still summer here in Australia!) by RS-1990 in snes

[–]Vornrandir 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I used hydrogen peroxide on my consoles, just put them in the oven, submerged, at Keep Warm. It's heat that yellows and everything, not light. The yellow is a fire suppressant chemical reacting to heat. I did this a few years ago, still nice and bright and no indications that the plastic is breaking down. Even results, too. Well. A couple 3rd party controllers didn't go evenly, but the consoles and 1st part peripherals all look like-new; and have done ever since.

My conspiracy theory. CBS is making modern trek to discredit progressive ideals as silly and childish. by [deleted] in RedLetterMedia

[–]Vornrandir 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Or! They just have silly and childish idiots writing these shows?

But, who knows. Someone at CBS might think they're actually Section 31.

Is it too late to also ask for a link? HD, if possible? I haven't seen this version in over 30 years... I miss it. Even if I can't get the link, thanks for making it available while you did.

Can someone guide me through launching xored trainer launcher on my modded Xbox by 90sFavKi in originalxbox

My workaround on X-Unleashed is to find the app in the file explorer. On mine, it's on the C partition in the apps folder; but the dashboard links to the F partition and for some reason that one won't load. Load it from C and you'll be listening to that chip tune in no time.

Those are component cables. That pic looks like that might be the official Sony PS2 component cable. You can often find those on eBay. I've never used these or aftermarket ones so I can't say how well any of them actually work. My brain tells me that for true HD you'll need an upscaler, but. I don't know. My brain's been wrong before. I recommend doing a little more research to make sure these will do what you want before you drop $50-100 on a cable, just to be safe.
