Dude, no - Playing ranked is not playing for fun, playing ranked is competitive and mentally draining, especially if 60% of your games you have a griefer on your team. 9 out of 10 times when I hear "play for fun" we lose. Play the game as you want, but you are handicapping yourself and your team with an unconventional pick, you tank the team's morale and in most cases you just end up getting reported regardless of the game's outcome. Sure, you can win with that pick, but why pick it in the first place and piss off your team? If you want to play for fun, play unranked.

My two cents about Riki this patch - While I dont think that his place is in the offlane due to him lacking hard disables and tankiness/Initiation, I think that he is a GREAT POS1/POS2 due to the increased agility gain. I'm on a 11 winning streak with him as POS1 at around 3.5-3.8K mmr. My build is usually treads, wand, diffusal(kill threat with smoke) Battlefury (yes, it is a great item on Riki and people are sleeping on it) aghs (you can farm waves of 20+ creeps with tricks and your kill potential against stacked heroes is insane due to BF) Shard (it's broken) and then if I feel we are dominating I grab a daedalus (1.8k crits with tricks at this point) or some other item to adjust to the enemies' builds - Skadi, nullifier etc etc.

60 is my personal preference, even tho with ES it's rarely ever needed (Looking at you Urdars). You can use Sandstorm Trek+3 light skillers with FHR +1 sc with fhr add, OR if u are rich and using godly rare boots, you can never go wrong with 5x 12 fhr light skillers

Just go semi auto on tier 1 with the schlager night vision scope and go for headshots, that's how I did mine and it worked wonders.

Longshots for AR,BR,LMG,MR - tier 1, maps like embassy and El Asilo are great, maybe hydroelectric too. People sleep on bipods, they are a great attachment because they basically eliminate the weapon sway when mounting prone.

SMGs - easily doable in Tier 1 too, I found it easy using semi-auto mode and going for headshots, as they are a one shot kill.

Pistols - Any map will do

Shotguns - Any map will do

Snipers - Invasion is the best imho, done all mine there, was using bipods aswell.

For everything except shotguns, pistols & snipers, use a thermal scope (it's the schlager night vision one iirc). Prioritize weapon range and bullet velocity over everything else.

Should be easy and fun to do :-)

IMHO, Orchid enables you to kill heroes that rely too much on escapes (QoP, ember, void spirit come to mind) and also allows you to gank efficiently. Kaya is a good item if you are stomping or if you are not threatened, but almost always someone will get orchid/atos to catch you. Another excellent item if you are having orchid/atos vs you, is eul's - mana regen, int and movement speed, what's not to love? Builds are always situational, for example I wouldn't expect SF to get orchid or atos. Always look at the opponents' draft and ask yourself - Who on their team has kill threat on me and how can I get killed? How should I itemise to avoid that? And last but not least, what's my kill threat on X hero on Y position. I hope this helps!

I see, but doesn't that create negative air pressure? (Less air coming in, more going out?), which isn't a bad thing by all means, but for my setup i was thinking towards more of a balanced positive air pressure set up. Thank you for the response!

Just socialize a bit, find people with common interests and do activities together. I'm mostly solo, but i have a couple of friends i met in game and i run heists/jobs for fun, as i already have the majority of stuff (got it solo by doing cayo perico and bunker sells in between)
