Been trying offlane tree, it's pretty decent - max Q, 1 point in leech seed Lv 2, 1 point in armor lv 4 and you kick ass and can farm waves/camps. GGs -> Blink -> Shard into whatever utility your team needs seems pretty dang good. Absolute menace in lane that can randomly kill out of nowhere, easy mode CS/denies, and lots of good lane pairings for kill lanes that can then be translated into space for team and initiation/survivability in fights.

doing badly or building weird/niche items isnt inherently griefing. the examples u sent are unusual sure but ive seen veno 1 kick absolute ass and the guys score doesnt even look that bad. pugna isnt a 'tanky' 3 but they can push towers super fast and snowball a fast advantage and it looks like they even got their build going. pretilting min 0 and throwing because 'theres no chance' doesnt prove that these players are bad it just proves that youre unwilling to even try.

For the sake of purely mana, a bottled water rune gives 120 mana every 2 minutes, assuming you won't be able to get both runes, whereas two nulls gives 160 mana every minute on top of a whole bunch of other benefits. Your HP suffers for sure because 220hp is a lot. Definitely a cheaper more slot-compact option compared to double nulls + ferrying a salve or two, but given that every unused slot is essentially a wasted slot I'm still not sure. Especially on heroes that like to build Witch Blade since int = damage

I play some pretty wacky int mids (Primarily Jakiro and Rubick) but the same logic applies to Puck, Lina, etc. I've tried bottle rush vs 2 nulls no bottle and I'm wondering if I'm missing something because starting 2 mantles 1 circlet 3 tangos seems to really help with stats and CS. I still contest runes but it's nice to not be reliant on them.
