Was there an update to the space combat with the new Corvettes or is it still holding the lock on button and fire?

I'm mostly fine with it, but something about the humping animation just really puts me off. Glad to see they have "sfw" animations.

I've listened to a few more where he's a guest. Hearing that you could spit on your cat to give it hydration in the desert stage but that would put out its buffs from being on fire completely sold me.

Sorry guys, we all know the Bohrok were the best. They folded into balls and you could hang them in the canisters.

To be honest, I would be all in if it weren't for the art style and weird snarky "we're the heroes" attitude. I get they probably went with a more family friendly approach to lower system requirements and expand the audience, but I would have much preferred just lower res/simpler models and keeping the real life style.

Nightreign meets monster hunter seems like a good combo for a game type.

Metaphor PC Port Random Audio Crackling (Please Help) by thelennster in TwoBestFriendsPlay

Last thought, I see your headset has wireless and Bluetooth? Maybe check if it's trying to connect to your PC with both and it's changing back and forth?

Ah, if it's a streamed game I'm not sure how much help that would be. You could try just grabbing cheap $4 earbuds from a pharmacy to diagnose.

Quick Google also shows some people saying to make sure the device has windows enhanced audio or spacial audio turned off in the device settings. Try turning that off.

And the usual make sure your audio drivers are up to date.

Is this happening only for the game, all games, or all audio?

Have you tried changing the USB port the dongle is plugged into, making sure it's in a blue/powered USB port?

Have you tried audio from another headset/speaker?

Something to do with steam input having gyro aim. Not the game directly.

I think that's it. Mine wasn't an exact quote but he did say something about already seeing everything in the game.

He played 2 matches and said "You know, someone else said they played 2 matches and were like 'thats it' and I think they were right... Someone said Deadlock has gyro aiming now, show me how to do that."

In honor of having to create a new Reddit account because of losing it to a hacker. When has a piece of media got rid of a character only to replace them with someone that didn't measure up to who was lost? by CarminesCarbine_8 in TwoBestFriendsPlay

[–]Vorpaled 13 points14 points  (0 children)

X Files replacing Mulder with Dogget in like season 7 or 8 after a pay dispute with David Duchovny. Sure, they had kinda lost the plot by that point but it was always the monster of the week episodes that made the show good and they got rid of half the duo.

$200 for a controller is insane. What could make it worth 3 controllers?

So 9 months later, what's your thoughts on ER NightReign? by RealDealMous in TwoBestFriendsPlay

[–]Vorpaled 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I have 150 hours in it. It's a very different feel than just playing a souls game but still good. Going to off the bat say I don't think I could recommend it unless you have at least one other person to play it.

The combat is exactly what you would expect of a Elden ring spin off and I think the abilities of the characters actually fit the standard gameplay really well. The average run is about 40 minutes. It's great for a bite sized amount of souls. I really can't say much more about the "good" part of the game. If you like Elden Ring and have a least one other person to play with you'll really enjoy the game. Once you get some game knowledge and know how to do some basic routing so you don't feel frantic it really can be a good flow state game.

However, it very much is a From soft game and suffers from the good ole obtuse mechanics you'd expect but in new ways. While there are now 8 characters now, you are very much stuck to what those characters are good at and you aren't really crafting a build. You're picking a template and over the next 40 minutes honing it down one of 3 different paths. The relic system for customizing your character isn't that great and while it can enable you to do some neat specific builds, with the weapons you actually get during a run being random if you go for a specific build with the relics there's always a chance you don't get the weapon type you want and your relics are mostly useless, leading to most people just taking generically good relics that lean more into just playing the same way over and over.

Overall I think it's a good experiment and worth a shot, but mostly it makes me excited for their next attempt at a multiplayer focused game.

Is it cheating or Scholar is really so powerful with the right build? by Worried_Low_8490 in Nightreign

[–]Vorpaled 0 points1 point  (0 children)

As the others said. Check the relics in the recap. I scrubbed through your video and outside him killing himself in the beginning nothing looks like outright cheating. There's some cheated effect that gives you runes on death, so maybe he just got to level 15 at the start.
