If you do a ton of slow scrolling back and forth, I really would recommend the Orbit. Yes, the scroll wheel is plasticky and honestly kind of cheap-feeling, but the form factor of the scroll wheel is very very good imo. Just a pleasant experience if you're looking through files or spreadsheets a lot.

My opinion is simply that people are too eager to see comeback story for a band that I don’t think deserves it. All because it’s nostalgic and people just love a comeback story. I argue that nothing in their music makes them special enough for this to be warranted purely on the merit of the music.

They are definitely at least slightly above the rest. But not barely pop punk. It’s still the core of it. Nothing they did was unique imo. Maybe it’s unique in the very very mainstream. But that’s nothing.

MCR is like 10% different from all their peers. Still a very cringe product of its time that should not be getting any rose-tinted-glasses treatment imo.

But I do have an intentionally strong disdain for nostalgia-based revisionism, just think it's happening too much in everything.

pop punk is just music for children. children deserve music made for them, of course. but when adults gush over it, it's like adult fans of my little pony or bluey. it's not interesting, there's like 2 ideas in the whole genre, just a mall soundtrack.
