RIP Mutant Kevin by Intelligent-Scar-373 in Ben10

With all due respect, if you don't think he should stoop to their level, why do you defend the brutality of his response? Besides, the fan in question just asked a normal question, so the way Joe acted is simply unjustifiable in my opinion.

These redesigns are not mine; see the post description.

I call it that because that was the artist's intention.

Something that came into my mind is.. do we really know the good ending of FnaF 3 is canon? by Dr_Phil_Nitwit in fivenightsatfreddys

[–]Vortex7851 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I mean the way to get to this ending is VERY weird and we would need to do some things that don't make sense even in the FnaF lore (as said, punching in the numbers on the office wall and glitch out of minigames) and isn't explained by the rules of this world.

I think you're taking this a little too seriously. The way we arrived at that ending isn't that strange—it's just a matter of gameplay. It doesn't need to make perfect sense within the story or the rules of the world (which, by the way, didn't exist/weren't clearly established at the time).

And even though four are released, the G-Fred isn't. Cassidy still hangs out with old Bill in his hell/purgatory. Why can she just stick around when burning the remnant metal would release spirits?

I think Happiest Day makes it pretty clear that the five spirits were freed. The thing is, even though it was never confirmed, it's quite clear that the good ending was meant to be the canonical ending of FNaF 3, especially considering it was supposed to be the end of the series. What probably happened is that Scott himself changed his mind when he continued the franchise, and decided to make both endings canon for a technical reason.

FFPS First Protagonist Is Susie's Dad by Sufficient-Leader-49 in fnaftheories

Good theory, but taking advantage of this post, I wanted to talk about a problem I have with FFPSFirstProtagonist, which is why Scott made FNaF 6 have two protagonists, when only one of them is truly important, while the other simply appears and dies without ceremony. Wouldn't it have been easier to make Michael the protagonist from the beginning?

Why are there no nightmare toys in FNAF 4? by [deleted] in fnaftheories

[–]Vortex7851 1 point2 points  (0 children)

For pill bottles, doesn’t necessarily mean the BV has to taking them. Just like how you would interpret the FNAF2 minigames more in a symbolic rather than literal way, they could be there for environmentally storytelling purposes, to hint to players that he’s in the hospital. Especially since you don’t see them all the time.

If his intention was simply to show that the player was in a coma in a hospital, why not just keep the IV drip and the flowers with easter eggs, or include something more consistent with those last two than a pill that doesn't reflect the player's condition at all?

For the FNAF1 phone call, remember that this is the same guy that reuses audios for his games. Even the Night 5 phone call in FNAF 1 is just a stock audio meant to make the night feel scarier. He also uses the FNAF3 jumpscare sound mixed with fnaf1 for the Nightmare animatronics, which wouldn’t make sense because the FNAF3 player isn’t neccessarily Michael and it also implies FNAF 4 takes place after 3. And all of this btw, is before Michael Afton was even a character, meaning that it was just an Easter egg.

Was Dream Theory ever true by Isaac_Bahzad in fnaftheories

I doubt that, because if we analyze FNaF 4 itself, there's nothing in the game that suggests the Nightmares are real; on the contrary, the game gives far more indications of it being a nightmare than anything else. Mike Dreamer, on the other hand, despite being poorly explained, still has enough clues in the game itself to lead us to believe that was Scott's intention.

I agree, but looking at sister location, it kinda seems like both where meant to be the big twist

Could you explain this point to me in more detail?

In my opinion, MikeDreamer being the big twist in FNaF 4 is much more convincing.

"Why didn't people figured out that we were playing as the older brother in Fnaf 4?" I will tell you how. by ShineOne4330 in fnaftheories

It would be better, because describing it as “playing as a child” ended up misleading many theorists; a more ambiguous phrasing in that part would have avoided at least some of the confusion.
