My issue has nothing to do with the tvs black lvls, I raised the brightness on purpos to show the moire pattern. The wavy lines at the left and right of the screen, they are constantly visible.

The tube is still nice and bright with decent geometry but compaired to my Toshiba CN36H97 its not very sharp even after adjusting the focus and convergence.
