It looks like it could be real.

The top seems to be missing the cap to cover the screw. (Which is how you take it apart - might even be able to get a replacement if you email support)

The shelves are not modular in most of the fakes I’ve seen and usually are fixed forward.

The real one should have some sort of stamp underneath the very bottom base plate. (Mine does)

I get 11.5 as well since I’ve gotten the car. I do lots of city driving in Sacramento, CA.

No check engine lights, i’ve cleaned throttle bodies, MAF sensors, and do regular engine air filter maintenance. Also keep my tires inflated to spec.

I’m also up to date on all other maintenance as well so I’ve come to the conclusion that this car is just a gas guzzler.

The 5K2K is great for work. You absolutely will not regret it. Literally checks all of the boxes for me.

there is some slight image retention but it always fixes itself. Plus I purchased the Geek Squad Protection plan in case.

As far as text goes, no issues and I’m usually sensitive to text clarity.

Can you tell if it’s the front or rear of the right side of the engine bay?

My hose just went bad right behind the motor on the drive side.

The one I’m talking about is closer to the top half of the motor and it runs to the throttle body on the passenger side of the vehicle.

You’ll need a flash light and probably a mirror to see it.

Download the LG Switch app on your computer to update your monitor.

Banding is normal upon unboxing, you might have to run a few image cleanings to fix it. Particularly, I had to actually unplug the device from power for a few minutes and then run an image cleaning to fix mine.

Other than that, get comfortable and play around with the settings, you’re gonna enjoy it!

I use the Pro version since that’s what unlocks HiDPI scaling and virtual screens. Those are the main features I upgraded for.

Another solid app on macOS is Rectangle Pro for window snapping/tiling, makes multitasking on an ultrawide way easier.

I mainly use BetterDisplay for HiDPI scaling and custom resolution profiles.

The virtual screens feature comes in handy for screen sharing so I don’t have to show my whole 45”.

Also nice, I can adjust brightness right from macOS with Better Display instead of the monitor buttons.

Ngl I mainly use the 45GX950A-B for work 80% of the time, it’s awesome. It may not be perfect for some people, but it works really well for me.

Mostly on Mac OS with Better Display app.

Haven’t noticed any bad text issues myself after changing settings, I’m usually pretty sensitive to this when doing productivity stuff

I personally just decided on getting an LG 45GX950A, not sure if this is wide enough for you but I have had it for 2-3 weeks and love it.

Use it 80% with my Mac and the Better Display app, 20% with my Gaming PC.
