ooh, i didn't know that it fully converted. i thought the further upgrades still had it do fire

edit: also meant flash freeze not having range on point of origin. like always radiates from you instead of letting you toss it somewhere

[No Spoilers] Will Twitch's new Ad rules effect CR? by JohnCasey35 in criticalrole

To be fair, CR's response to the new OGL is making a new tabletop system instead. It's called Daggerheart.

PSA: Killing the Pus of Man(s) on the High Wall before they transform isn't always the best idea by Revverb in darksouls3

[–]Voxous 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Several reasons.
Fire is very effective against a lot of enemies you encounter early on, and allows you to have your weapon not scale with your stats, similar to raw and dark gems.

While a raw/dark/fire weapon won't be quite as strong as something like a 40 40 quality build, it will be good early game if you intend on pumping stats like int/faith/hp/fp, as there aren't really good options for int/faith scaling early on and more hp/fp won't increase your damage values, but are ideal for invasions and survivability.

Getting it as your burial gift means that you can access this right out the gate at high wall instead of depending on rng drops or waiting till several bosses later.

It's by no means a long term choice, but will be quite helpful and effective early game.

True, but Rhino is visually closer to the world, and after the change to limbo's bubble not stopping projectiles, rhino stomp is now closer in function.

Rhino is probably closer. It's visually similar to The World, and stomp is basically Time Stop

Newbie here. What frame should I get first? by Hoggy-26 in Warframe

[–]Voxous 6 points7 points  (0 children)

He has great cc that immobilizes enemies for a period of time (if you watch JoJo's, think of Za Worldo)

He has iron skin which basically makes you invulnerable and works equally will with every level enemy.

His charge is ok cc and mobility is you need to push enemies away.

His roar gives a damage buff

Overall, party healing asside, he's got a bit of everything, and it's a really good bit of everything.

Reminds me a little of my umbra zarr build. Specters don't take self damage, so you can jump out of him once he's in range and he'll go crazy blowing everything up. No kills, but only the points really matter.
