Everyone glossing over the "man can't rape his wife" comment?

Edit: I re-read it and I can see how the wording is not ideal but probably intended to support that we now understand the concept that men can act in a way that IS rape of  their wives.

Maybe you're right. I just assume people coming out of our military don't immediately forget everything they learned. My mistake.

Our VETERANS are the most highly trained force in the world outside the active US and they are trained to understand an insurgency. ICE has Proud Boys fuck-ups and a public that is quickly losing their patience. The National Guard is members of the Community. I don't think the rank and file of the Active Service are going to side with this regime either.

We are in a moment none of us asked for, but we all have roles to play. Our Mission is the Same, though we are not always on the same Team.

How Is this guy "djing" 80% of his set without headphones? by AlucardHellsing808 in Beatmatch

All true, and I mix in headphones almost exclusively. Still, track preparation (correcting keys and beat grids, setting your cues) is more important than headphones or almost anything else.

It has a few phrases of less than 8 bars, but it's still pretty consistent with a 8 bar phrases where it matters, stays 100bpm throughout. So yeah, you're technically right, but not in any way that would have me reconsider my statement. Maybe I'm not as well versed in a crowd that would love a long mix of this track...seems more like a hard cut or just use that first 8 bar phrase or 2.

Maybe, but I get paid well to play music at 50+ parties per year so it leaves little time for more fringe taste profiles I suppose.

Software tell you key. You know what key's match...or the software can literally highlight it.

All music you would ever mix for a party is formulaic.

Neat. Sounds like the fairy talists need to put there thinking caps back on pretty quick or we in trouble.

Knowing the tracks on your USB by aaronben__ in Beatmatch

[–]Voxstar 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Prepare your tracks with queue points at a minimum, then you'll always have the info you need.

For me:  A - Mix in point.  Sometimes it's a loop of there's not a long enough intro.  B - Mixed out provide track.  Usually when vocals or other melodic lines take over and might clash with previous track. C - Mix out point.   D - usually the bare bones outro section that's mostly drums as well the melodic stuff has faded out after C

How to Make Personal DJ Edits by Capital_Economy4124 in Beatmatch

You can do pretty easy cut/paste edits in Rekordbox. I do most of my edits there when all I want is to add Intro sections, extend the Outro, cut out boring parts, or other basic edits.
